🤲 Sharing 🤲 from ✝️☝️ God's ☝️✝️ 📖 Word 📖
Work in progress, probably the basis for some short Bible study videos. (Also reminds me of a Scripture @John Jackson shared the other day about not being overcome by evil, but overcoming evil with good. Thank you, John Jackson!) "Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing." (1 Peter 3:9 KJV) Love is stronger than hate. If you operate on hate, you put yourself and your victim on a floor so weak that when you make them your doormat and wipe your feet on them, you’ll cave in the floor under both of you. If you operate on love, you put yourself and the other person on a floor strong enough to support you both, and when you lift that person up to the next level, they can reach down and pull you up after them, and many will do so out of gratefulness. But even if they don’t, you will have the satisfaction of knowing not only that you’ve done the right thing for them, but that you’re still on a solid floor that won’t cave in under you. Besides that, if you’re humble in God’s sight, He’ll lift you up at the right time, whether or not the person you helped ever lets Him use them to do His lifting.

Love is like the waters of a might river that flows. Hate is like a rock. I can make a big splash. It can stand against the water, but the water will flow around it. The water will wash over it and eventually turn the rock into sand. Very much, indeed, love is greater than hate. Love is from God.
☝️✝️ Christian ✝️☝️ 👐 Creator 👐 🏁 Challenge 🏁 Step 1:
Your ministry often comes through your testimony. 1. What's one huge mountain God has helped you (or is helping you) overcome? 2. If you've shared this already, what do people relate to the most? 3. Whether you've shared yet or not, what questions or situations do people come to you about, and what testimony of yours helps you help them? 4. Once you've answered these questions, create something based on the answers and share it (or even a draft of it) in the group. I'll start with my answers in the comments, and I'll be praying about what to create.

The mountain was that I was a "secret agent Christian," loving the idea of Christ but walking far off trail, and Christ followers did not recognize me as part of their tribe. I was like a child lost in the woods but having adventures so I did not notice I was lost. When was it that I fell? I can't place the day Can't recall the event. Not at all like Lucifer Plunging straight to Hell, But a slow, almost imperceptible descent Clawing my way to higher ground, But slipping nevertheless Unitl the flames licked my heels. Then, as a cried out At the end of my strength, Came forth my Savior Full of God's Grace.

Into the River I plunge Because you beckon. Bold, mighty, awesome The River rushes; No obstacles can stand. Your kingdom come! Dams burst, Giants fall, Strongholds crumble, Deserts bloom. In over my head The current takes me. No fear! For You are the River, And I want to go. My feet can't touch bottom: Trusting You, Depending on You. Your will be done! My spirit opens; The River flows through. I in the River, And the River in me. Because I am yours And you called me Into the River, My eyes see, My heart loves, My mouth speaks, My hands stretch forth. Your will be done! Around me, in me, through me The River flows. Drinking you; Breathing you; Becoming a current of the River. Not dissolving, I remain myself More the real me Than ever before. Into the River I plunge Because You beckon.
💝 Valentine's 💝 Challenge
Over this weekend or the following week, share some form of your new or old creative work related to love: God's love to us, your love to Him, love between you and a spouse or significant other, love among family members, or any other 🧼 clean and wholesome 🧼 love. Share it in this group (as an independent post or a comment on this one) and on at least one external platform. I'll be thinking and praying about what to post, myself, though I've got some ideas.

O Density, thy song is staid and faint For in this world of little men But few escape restraint By skill of pen How then? By force of deed Can less be done today Then when this world was free to bleed And more there was to build than watch decay I wrote this poem in the 1980s, not knowing the answer to the question at the heart of it. Years later the Holy Spirit told me the answer. Reply with what you think the answer might be.

@Kris Jim Murdock then pray. That’s the answer God showed me. Prayer is an interaction with God. Spending time with God changes us, not him. As we align our wills with his good and perfect will (being transformed by the renewing of our minds), we see prayers answered more frequently because the things we desire in our hearts and ask from him in prayer are the things he has always wanted to give us. The destiny we thought we wanted to bring into existence by dint of word or deeds fades as we follow ever more closely behind Jesus and live out the destiny that he calls us to.
The 🥊 Power 🥊 of 🗓 Consistency 🗓
We're going on this journey of creating and sharing together, and I admit my YouTube channels are not big yet at all, but going by percentage of growth, the one where I've been posting almost daily, at mostly the same time each day, has been exploding. I say this not to boast, but to encourage you. Even if it's just a short post or video on one platform, the more consistent you are, the more the algorithms will notice you and push your content out so you can reach more people for Jesus. It's ideal to have several posts per day on many platforms, and I plan to grow into that, but it's also fine to start small and build from there. As the Bible says, who has despised the day of small things? But a word of warning: If I miss even a day, I notice a major setback in views.
