@Mike Karabell That actually does sound unique especially using real landmarks and the Delaware River as part of the story. I like that your thumbnails are planned directly from your intro and that you’re almost always in them; it makes the content feel very grounded and personal. I’m curious when you’re planning those intros, are you thinking thumbnail first and building the video around it, or does the location/story come first and the thumbnail comes out of that?

@Mike Karabell That actually makes a lot of sense. Having a clear visual idea for the thumbnail from the start especially with iconic landmarks really helps set direction for the whole video. I like how intentional your process is, from choosing the landmark to deciding the exact spot to stand. It’s interesting that even with a strong hook and solid storytelling, not preplanning the thumbnail can still affect performance so much. Out of curiosity, have you ever heard about digital marketing, especially as it relates to content and thumbnails? And are you into digital marketing at all?

I’m still early in the process and focused on improving with each video rather than the numbers right now.
