Balancing a high-fruit lifestyle with environmental concerns – seeking your experience!
Hi everyone, I’m currently navigating some pushback from family regarding my 80/10/10 lifestyle. The main concern raised is the environmental impact of shipping tropical fruits into the UK, specifically the carbon footprint compared to eating locally grown, cooked foods. I’m committed to this path, but I also want to be mindful of my environmental footprint. I’ve started exploring ways to source more fruit locally, focusing on UK-grown staples like apples and pears to bridge that gap. I know many of you have faced similar scepticism from friends or family. How do you handle these conversations? Do you have any tips for staying true to the diet while also addressing valid concerns about sustainability? [ @Doug Graham] – I’ve seen your previous posts about the social dynamics of this lifestyle and would love to hear your perspective on navigating these family "friction points" with grace. Looking forward to hearing how you’ve all managed these situations!' P.S. from my memory in Doug's health book - he had quotes, probably more than 1 saying writing about environmental reasons to follow a raw diet , and how to handle people against it, could readers (you )please help me find these quotes in the comments?

How much does it help to do 1 1/2 day water fasts? (short water fast, technically not intermittent fasting, but also - not having effect where feel have less energy either )
QUICK it was on my attention to recap - basically I by mistake was given a holiday on the day about 28th, in about 1 week, after my last 1 1/2 day water fast was 2 weeks ago. So makes sense to use this time to do another 1/2 day water fast. How much does it help to do 1 1/2 day water fasts? (short water fast, technically not intermittent fasting, but also - not having effect where feel have less energy either ). I need to weight if its worth myself strive just copy ted car do it every 30 days, or could be better every 2 weeks with my autoimmune disease. What are your thoughts? thanks for reading. ' @Richard Gambino and @Doug Graham interested

@Trayce Pjirrou 'organic grapes every 2 waking hours for 1-5 days for a good flush' what do you mean eating grapes every 2 hours? that sounds bad 'don't even go into fasting mode until 4-5 days have past if I remember correctly.' my energy levels - would probably lower after 1 1/2 days i would think-? so probably is bad for me to do 2-5 days? right now I have being doing one fruit meal a day for 3 days in a row with my paid job *

@Doug Graham More energy? I eat for fuel and sleep for energy. - so you agree fasting helps energy production? Ted car, says he does a 1 day fast every month , that's who i started following, thanks.
Green consumption 🥬🥒
I just saw an Instagram post from Dr Graham talking about greens consumption recommendation. He was repeating, he was not recommending an only fruit diet and talking about 1% to 3% greens necessity per day / a pound of leafy green for an active men and a little less for a women. However, I remember reading in the 811 book, 2 to 6% per day of celery and leafy greens. Is it an update Dr Graham? Or am I missing something? Does any one know? Is it a minimum or the range ? Is more than 1 to 3% unnecessary? Thank you for reading!

Bathroom uses
I now get up to use the bathroom to pee 1-2 times a night, rarer 3 times. How long will this continue or is it a common, forever practice on 801010? I’ve been eating clean, organic, nothing processed, vegan for almost 30 years. GF and no flour products for 14 years. High or 100% raw for 14 years. High fruit and large salads for many years. What is new to me is committing to the 801010, low fat, removing the occasional cooked beans and all the nuts and seeds, chia, hemp, etc, I used to have. So, it’s not like I’m super toxed up. Any light you can share on how long this new bathroom habit will persist?

Covid Detox
For recommendations to those who were brainwashed enough to get the jab, does anybody have any real experience with protocols to get rid of the spike protein? For my latin American friends who would have been thrown in jail if they didn't conform to the propoganda.
