Found a Band
I finally found a band that I could join if I wanted to, but they just aren't a good fit for me. The singer is the leader and he has no idea how to lead a band. He kust keeps rotating different people on different days. It's almost like he has 2 different bands going bexause he can't choose between drummrs and bass players. I also really wouldn't have fun playing about 95 percent of the songs he wants to play. Sucks, but I feel like I have to pass and keep looking, even though I have found nothing in my area that is even remotely what I am looking for.

If you are going to be in a band that lasts any length of time, you need to be with people you enjoy, that communicate well. It's a challenge to find that, but much better than trying to tolerate a frustrating situation. Starting your own band can be more frustrating. I spent 2 years trying to do that with people on Craigslist. It drove me crazy. At least where I live, 90% of those that responded were undesirable. They either didn't show up, or were too strange or egotistical. I finally found a great bunch by responding to a Craigslist ad. Fight through the frusttration and keep trying. It's so worthwhile when you find the right bunch.

Good In-Ear Monitors (IEM's)
Does anyone use some budget IEMs that they like or recommend to people? Starting to look into this and there are so many options out there! I'm not in a band or anything so this would mainly be for playing by myself at home. Let me know your suggestions or thoughts if you don't think IEMs are the way to go!

I've had very good luck buying on Temu. I've bought several pairs, each costing under $10. Once I found the ones that fit best and have decent sound quality, I bought several of them. So far, after almost a year, the first one ie etill good to go.
