What would it be, and why? Mine has changed, for many years I’d have said 10k, but I think if I could only race one distance from now on, I’d choose the marathon. Why? It’s the distance I’ve got most to learn (have completed 10 of them), and whilst I don’t think I can get much quicker (having gone from 4:10 down to 3:30 over the last 3 years), there’s still plenty of room to train and prepare better and “get lucky” and smash what would be a satisfying 10mins off.
