First run of 2026!
Easy Friday. I can't wait for all the ice on local roads and trails to melt away.

@Liza Shulyayeva gotta try, curious about what it feels like
If you could only race one distance for the rest of time…
What would it be, and why? Mine has changed, for many years I’d have said 10k, but I think if I could only race one distance from now on, I’d choose the marathon. Why? It’s the distance I’ve got most to learn (have completed 10 of them), and whilst I don’t think I can get much quicker (having gone from 4:10 down to 3:30 over the last 3 years), there’s still plenty of room to train and prepare better and “get lucky” and smash what would be a satisfying 10mins off. I hoe 🤞

Mine has to be the 10k, I feel that its the perfect mix between endurance and speed, if you're aiming for a pr it really hurts from start to finish. (Thats why I puked at the end of my last 10k pr race 😂😂😂😂)
