Sent out pricing increase communication - 80% of open rates with no reactions.
As in the title, I've recently sent out the communication on the price increase to a group of clients receiving them. The open rate is 80%, but literally no client reacted. Is this generally a good thing or a bad thing? No reaction is needed from them, I'm just wondering whether I should be fearing this or not?

Expect to hear from those who have questions or want to challenge the new pricing. You will probably not hear from those who accepts the new prices. You know for sure how many accepts the new prices, when the payments starts coming in. That point in time is after the complaint and challenges. So you have to be patient, and compare if there are too many complaints which cancels, compared to how many you have warned about the new prices. If the <accounts cancelled> / <accounts warned > ratio is acceptable, wait for the payments. When enough payments are coming in, you have a good indicator of if the prices has been accepted for the first renewal for each customer. As @Oz Guner wrote, they can also accept the prices for now, because they don't have the resources to switch right away. That switch might come before the next renewal. We are rolling out a new pricing structure at the moment, and see the same pattern. About 5 years ago, and 10 years ago, we rolled out big price increases, and saw the same pattern. You won't get many "Thank you for raising your prices" emails.
