Content blocking ๐Ÿšซ
I have a homelab issue I can't seem to solve. I have children and they are consuming content on YT โ–ถ๏ธ. For some content it's fine by us as parents but some content however..... I tried blocking ๐Ÿšซ content with PiHole and currently running AdGuard Home but both don't seem to do the trick. I have a PfSense firewall and a few VM's and LCX containers running. Is there a solution for this challenge we have as parents to ๐Ÿšซ content?

@Eli King the devices of our kids are protected by Google Kids with parental controls enabled. YT is set to the age limit to prevent them from seeing content that's not suitable for their age. However the content creators are smart and set the age restrictions to All ages to make sure the content we as parents don't agree are still available on YT / YT Kids. How did you block certain channels of YT keywords on YT / YT Kids? Our kids use Android tablets and my oldest has a Chromebook.

@Matthias Neumeister if I could block YT I would do it. We don't have normal TV in the house with kids channels. It's their only way to watch some "kids friendly" content besides Netflix. Blocking certain content is preferred as the creators of the content didn't set any age restrictions for their content, witch is smart so they reach a lot of young kids as well. I wish I could block it somehow. By the way YT is accessible for kids with an age restriction set up and below 16. My oldest is able to wacht YT on his tablet and on our smart TV with his own "restricted" account.
Anyone going after certs this year? Cloud, on-prem?
Curious how many might be going after certs this year, either on-premises tech or cloud certs?

There are so many things to learn and to choose from. It's both on prem and cloud stuff I'm interested in and using for work. Homelab is most on prem cause you can learn the most out of it. Hosting your own software. Maybe CompTia Linux + to start with for this year depending on the time I have
๐Ÿ”ฅWhat are you running your lab on?
Hey everyone, just wanted to throw out a quick poll on what everyone is using to run their labs. Curious with the VMware by Broadcom shakeup, how many are exploring other hypervisors or technologies.

I use Proxmox and Docker on my homelab. Switched from ESXi to Proxmox years ago after a tip from someone and never looked back.
