@Sarah McComb-Turbitt thanks Sarah. Now that you bring it to my attention I was feeling that the painting looked quite cold. Adding more purple to the shadows would lessen that. I’ll try it. It is really great that people take the time to comment on paintings. We sometimes cannot see what is quite obvious to another pair of eyes. Thanks.

Thespis is lovely. A cow is not easy. They have so many angles and sometimes when they are standing their legs seem to be in the wrong place! I know I have tried to paint them! So well done to capture the cow and the feeding calf so well.
