Paining
Anyone have painting done recently and have a recent quote they can share on price per sf?

@Shane Chapin - Shane , have you used John before?
Software
There are alot of software discussions on various platforms. But I am interested in hearing members from this community: if anyone has recently transferred to a different software, which one and what was your selection process. I find that most softwares have similar functionalities and it ultimately comes down to pricing and which functionalities you/the operator determine as "must have's" and as "good to have but can live without".

@Ying Fu - What’s the reason to switch? What problem are you trying to solve, or what feature do you not currently have that you need ?

@Ying Fu - ESS has deficiencies. I won't argue that. However, I also find that it is: A) Cost Effective B) Easy to use. This is important for our call team. I had StorEdge in the past on 1 facility and it was brutal C) Has the majority of features I need. D) Fairly Cheap. Considering what they do offer Cubby has better features. And we've considered switching several times. But we've been swamped with other projects, and it's not hateful enough to make the switch.
Allowing non-tenants at your facility-
Just curious…on a previous post by Ying, she had mentioned allowing possible “future tenants” to view the unit before making a decision. We don’t typically allow anyone on the lot to “preview” the unit. I’d love to hear who in the group does this… reasons for why you do, or why you do not. Do many people ask for this? Look forward to hearing your answers

I’m not sure what our call teams internal policy is. However, with rentals being tighter these days I am more apt to do it. If someone is willing to send a pic of their license I think it acts as a good first filter, and in exchange we extend goodwill. It’s not super common, but viewing from my consumer lens I see how this valuable. All the big stores do it. This is a disadvantage of operating remote. So instead I try to think of how we can at least compete Would love to hear other angles

@Wes Eaves - nobody meets them. That would just add a friction point. Again it’s only a few times this has happened. So not a well oiled process.
