So when I tell people I enjoy everything I eat, this is pretty much it. On my refeed day when I can probably afford to eat what every I want, I’ve landed on things that are relatively good for me and still fit the category of increasing my energy stores. My base meals are pretty much this Apple concoction and a essentially a high protein veggie bowl. Again, I’ll have a few cookies, a few bags of candy a hand full of chips and a 2 protein bars. On Saturday I’ll have this plus some sorbet, frozen yogurt or protein ice cream. The trick is to stay really disciplined on the other 5 days per week and your body will require a refueling to continue to build without breaking down muscle in your workouts. It creates a wave and depending you can decide which way it ultimately travels.
