This week’s opportunity
This week you’re going to have the opportunity to start to assemble some of your own workouts. The iCloud links expired and I decided that this is a great opportunity to collect your thought process and activate a program for yourselves. Less than a week to finish up strong. Understand what changes you started off looking to make. We all have different focuses and hurdles we had to clear. May it be adding a few cardio sessions or increasing your calorie intake. What series of movements will you do to reshape your body? Just so you know, Monday was typically arm day, Tuesday was leg focused, Wednesday was shoulder and upper back, Thursday was arms, Friday legs as Sat was chest and back. If I had a 7 it was probably shoulder focused. Again, that’s the bones of your cheat sheet. Think about what exercises you’d put together for at least 12 good working sets. Ok, I’m excited to hear how you go about this.

That's a good guide. Thank you!
To the maxx
Haven’t lifted weights in over 6 weeks. This is my workout now. And I can do it at home? This will save me so much time.

I see some chest and shoulder gains.
Where I Started vs Where I'm Going
Jan 22 vs Feb 28 Weight: 199 vs 194.2 Neck: 13.8 vs 13.5 Waist: 38 vs 37 Hips: 43.5 vs 42.5 Small progress, but the start of a bigger mindset change. Incorporating better habits and a commitment to continue the journey.
Where I Started vs Where I'm Going
End of the line
So as we reach the end of this particular part of the journey I want you all to take a second and reflect on some of the experiences you had going through this. Like most experiences there are things you appreciate and things you’d like to do over. The good news is that even though the challenge is at an end each day is another opportunity to make those changes and continue to customize your experience. The sharpening the blade challenge wasn’t designed to showcase my training abilities it was designed to show you yours. I’m not arrogant enough to think I’m the best trainer for anyone. The training program should be used as a roadmap to teach you how to operate your body so that eventually you can start to creat intuitively and work around obstacles that were once seen as roadblocks to your progress. Tomorrow those that want to be considered for the prize, 3 months of personalized training on the Maximum Output app via Trainerize please submit your before and afters. I believe there are only 3 active members participating in the challenge so we can put it up to a vote. I’ll participate as well, and as always at some point in time sat morning is you’re on PST or somewhere in that range, I’ll go live for a few and answer any closing questions.

Austin, thank you for this challenge. I learned so much more. Tracking consistently was a game changer. I will always track going forward there's a level of accountability there that is good for me. I did not workout as consistently as I should - one just me not getting it done, and I also had an outpatient surgery that kind of threw me off for a good 1.5 weeks. But, I'm back and started working out again. I also GET TO DO 20 minutes cardio every morning before work. I needed this a jumpstart to getting back on track. Even if ai don't win, which I'm not expecting to, the journey was well worth it! Max Out! 😘
You win at the grocery store
This post goes kinda long but the gist of it is, create little life hacks. When you have your nutrition framework down grocery shopping gets fun. You just fill categories and you can explore with other things that fits in that spot. When you get in a groove, you just stock pile what you know you’ll continually need. You can have some fun stuff in the house but don’t have piles and piles of crap stored up. Eat on time and you’re good. Your body just wants food. When you miss those fuel stops it distinctly understands what gets energy in the system faster and it has no problem with grabbing the wheel. Had a video of my impressive grocery hall and my stockpile of supplements and supplies but alas. I’ll have to post another day.

Oooh so good. This week, I realized it's just easier for me to eat the same meals. I know what's in them (ingredients/macros) and I can eat without much planning when I have those meals on the ready.
