Client Identity Verification via SMS OTP
Our firm is working on strengthening our cybersecurity and would like to implement an identity verification tool to use with clients. With the increase in hackers using A.I. to impersonate voices and spoof phone numbers, we would like to use a tool to send clients a SMS verification code when they call in with requests and verify the code. We found Twilio Verify, but after digging more into the tool, it seems that it is just an API tool that requires you to code it into an existing website/app or use 3rd party vendors with it. It just seems much more complex than we would prefer. I would love to see what other RIA firms are doing to verify client identities and what tools are being used for SMS OTP verification.

PreciseFP Forms
Hi Operators! Wanted to see if there were any other PreciseFP users in this crowd. We recently adopted it and have set a new client onboarding template - gathering all their details about employment, assets, liabilities, goals, family, etc. It's quite thorough (and long!). We also set up a template for our annual update, so that existing clients can confirm their details, and also tell us about anything new/send new statements for financial planning. What else are y'all using it for? There are plenty of options in their library, just not sure where to start and what will really be practical. For example, for our practice, estate planning would be better suited in a conversation than a form. Would love to hear how you are using the tool the most!

Anniversaries Gifts for Employees
Are other RIAs doing anything for Employees for 1, 2, 3, and 4 Year Anniversaries and for the Milestone Anniversaries of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years

Our firm loves celebrating employee anniversaries during our annual team meetings. We’ve been marking those milestones with engraved glass service plaques, each one a little unique, so it really stands out on your desk. 🤗 So far, the highest milestone we’ve awarded is 10 years, with plaques given for both 5- and 10-year anniversaries. The other years still get a warm, honorable mention… for now!
Wealthbox and ClientWorks
I’m asking on behalf of a prospect - for any LPL Wealthbox users. How has the Wealthbox/ClientWorks integration worked for you? Smooth sailing, or have you run into pain points? Would love to hear your experiences!

Pain points: Client Addresses came over in all caps and some were old addresses. Also, we had deceased names/birthdays/ssn populate as a co-mingled name with the widow. Also, middle initials were added. Note: If you don't have Client Works as the primary database for updates, then you might not have this issue. WE have it set that way due to the many places Client Works has for address updates if the accounts are grouped.
