I've always strived to be a great listener, one of my pet peeves is me talking about whatever I'm talking about... whether it is grief or pain or something good and the person who is supposed to be listening, then compare their situation to mine. At that point, I shut down there's no more to say. Yes, I know that some people are listening to respond and not really listening and it is what it is.🤷🏼‍♀️
