Brain detox?
@JoJo Light Hi is there something called brain detox?😊 would love to know moreπŸ’•

Yes. Ive looked into brain health due to both parents having dementia. The detox can work alongside the lymphatic and glymphatic drainage flush. There are different types of parasite infections. Neurocysticercosis. Caused by Taenia solium larvae (pork tapeworm), which form cysts in the brain.Toxoplasmosis: Often causes brain inflammation (encephalitis), causing confusion and poor coordination.Parasitic Meningitis: Inflammation of the brain lining, resulting in stiff neck, headaches, and sometimes coma.Echinococcosis (Hydatid disease) Produces large cysts that can cause significant neurological damage. Eating leafy greens, broccoli, berries , omega 3, ginger, turmeric, lions mane, can all help alongside hydration to support the flush. This is just a brief overview. 🧠

Raw Cougetti Bolognaise
Had a bunch of tomatoes to use up so made this last night, and it was very nice πŸ…πŸ…πŸ… Cup or so of tomatoes (I used smaller ones as find them sweeter) 1 x large Courgette Mixed Italian herbs (I used the ones in the photo and marinated the tomatoes in them for a few hours) Sliced mushrooms (had some mushrooms i'd marinated in garlic, salt and coconut aminos, so threw these of top) Fresh Basil Blend tomatoes into a sauce. Toss Courgette in the sauce Add mushrooms and Basil πŸ˜‹

@Emma Mahoney I need to start growing more herbs. Mint, basil, parsley, coriander. Even if it grow in pots. Then i can just snip a bit off each time and the plant keeps growing πŸ˜„
Eyes and detox
This might sound crazy but I really feel i need to detox or cleanse my eyes. Right now they are always puffy, itchy (hay-fever season) whites of eyes not very white, no sparkle. I constantly have broken sleep, get woken up, or need to go toilet in night. Eyes can water quite easily when active. What can I do to cleanse then reduce puffiness?

@JoJo Light Thank you JoJo. I haven't done any lymph massage for a week or two. I need to rewire my brain so I do it daily. 🩷

Dandelion and Burdock drink (Tum Tum friendly)
I used to love dandelion and burdock drink as a kid, tho the shop bought stuff is full of sugar, so I'd thought id make my own, without the bad stuff. I've not made it yet as I need burdock root and need to pick and prep dandelion root, and when stomach is feeling calmer Ive cut away all sugar. Dandelion Traditionally supports: digestion and bile flow liver support gentle fluid balance mild bitterness that can stimulate digestion Burdock Often used for.. digestive support skin and lymph support gentle prebiotic fibre (from the root) Usually milder than dandelion, but again, strong decoctions can feel β€œheavy” if digestion is sensitive. Gentle Homemade Dandelion & Burdock 🌼🍡(Gastritis-Friendly) Made for a calmer stomach, soothing rather than harsh. You’ll need: 1 teaspoon dried burdock root Β½ teaspoon roasted dandelion root (keep this lighter at first) 1 thin slice fresh ginger (optional only if ginger suits you) 1 small piece cinnamon stick (optional) 500–600ml filtered water Β½ teaspoon Manuka Honey or raw honey (optional, added after cooling slightly) Method: Add the burdock root, dandelion root, and optional ginger/cinnamon to a small pan. Pour in the water. Bring gently to a simmer, not a rolling boil. Let it simmer softly for about 10–15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it sit for another 5 minutes. Strain well. Let it cool to warm or room temperature before drinking. Add honey only once it’s no longer very hot. How to take it: Start with half a cup first, not a full mug Best after food, not on an empty stomach Once a day to begin with Watch how your stomach responds If your stomach is very sensitive: Use: burdock root only for the first few days then slowly introduce a little dandelion. slow, simple, and listening to the body. Your stomach will tell the truth faster than any label on a bottle. Sip and enjoy.
