Business Diaries: When the Numbers Drop
Today’s reflection is about those moments in business when things start to feel like a struggle. I’ve been taking on a lot lately, creating daily YouTube videos, posting reels on Instagram and TikTok, and sharing updates on Facebook. It’s all part of growing my business and keeping a consistent presence online. For a while, I was seeing good traction. But over the last few days, my reach has dropped on every platform. It’s that kind of dip that can really knock your motivation. So I’ve been reminding myself why I do this. It’s not just to grow my business, I actually enjoy it. I love the creativity and flow that comes from making content. Still, it’s good to remember that traction takes time. It’s normal for growth to come in waves. I also watched a video from Alex Hormozi recently that really stuck with me. He said we often want our content to go viral, but if it’s the wrong audience watching, it doesn’t matter. It’s better to have fewer views from people who are truly engaged than thousands from people who will never connect with your work. I don’t really know what the point of this post is, maybe just to share that we all go through these struggles. And if you’re going through it too, I’m right there with you. You’re not alone.
