A reminder to keep going when things feel quiet ✨
Just wanted to drop a little positivity into the group today! I recently received an order—27 items in a single checkout. I know orders like this are rare and definitely not the daily norm, but moments like this make all the behind-the-scenes graft feel worth it. To anyone currently going through a quiet spell, please take this as your sign that your hard work isn't going unnoticed. Keep pushing!

Artwork and Frame Design
When the images are prepared for the mockups such as the display set out here in my Etsy store. I noticed one of the frames have a white mat sitting behind the image such as the Oak frame and the remaining images fill the entirety of the frame. Does PrintShrimp offer the white mat or coloured mat behind the image selected for printing or does the artwork have an an only option for filling the entirety of the frame.? It would appear that if a customer was to select a poster with the Oak frame, the artwork within that frame would be a poster with a white mat behind it. So would it be better if I customised my own MockUp settings for all of my own projects? such as the example Mockup of the Cat and Poster. So I would create a white background and then lay the subject art onto it which the print would be the file and then I would upload into PrintShrimp.?

I even add a comment in description about 'other frames are shown to give you an idea of what your poster would look like in your own frames'
1k Up!!
Just passed the 1000 listings mark!! (1015 to be exact 😜) Just over 6 months since I listed my first poster. Looking forward to seeing if the theory of 1000 listings being the point at which you get pushed a lot more by Etsy is true, especially considering how slow the month has been 🙄 I have done screenshots of the journey so far, as I know it may help some of the new guys see it visually to see it actually does work. You need to put the time in, get those images created and posted and the sales will come. I don't think I am doing too bad..... though I have no expectations and am certainly not at the point where I believe this is anything more than just a side hobby at the moment. The shop, if anyone wants to take a look is https://www.etsy.com/shop/BetterHomeGallery (If anyone has any ideas on how to increase the 0.6% conversion rate, that would be ace!!)

PROMO CODE
Hi everyone, Trying to set up a code for the 20% off 3. I feel like I have put in all the information required, but cant see a way to click to make it live. I have set up other promotions with no issues, but clearly missing something here. Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Jim

Start up costs
Hi everyone. as I've been educating myself and reading all your comments and posts I keep noticing the monthly cost of everything adding up. The Etsy account and fees, the mid journey and upscayl subscriptions, the bulk upload tool. I was just wondering what everyones final start up costs amounted to, and if there's free or less costly versions to try before I upgrade to the more expensive ones? thanks everyone!

@Jude Bolton Ah - for once, us PC users get an advantage! A lovely chap on here might be able to point you to the workaround for getting upscal on a mac ( @Bart Tutaj ?? - I think it was Bart, anyway...) Pretty sure you can use the same images... BUT you wouldn't be able to edit the image that shows (i.e. place your new poster in situ), but templates for this kind of thing are available in etsy for both Canva and Photoshop. Make sure you get the right versions - they're usually pretty clear on if they're canva or psd files. These are usually a few quid. Top tip is to put on you like in your basket and leave it there. Oftentimes you'll get a discount code sent to encourage you to check out.

@Jude Bolton the bulk tool gives you up to 6 mockups that use the actual poster SKU you are uploading. You still have the option then to upload further images, but these are 'static' (i.e. the bulk tool does not add anything into them) but I used them to showcase a 'gallery' of other styles, as well as other info (people often use these extra images for frames info, shop offers) Some people say your hero image should always been the same - check out other people's stores and you can decide how you visually want to present your art
