Heading to Chicago soon
I am getting ready to head to Chicago at the end of April, I will be attending the H&H wholesale show and also the Fiber & Fabric Festival - will any of you be there at all?

I landed in Chicago just before midnight on 28th April, after traveling for more than 36 hours - all within 28th April! Leaving NZ really early in the morning, I was re-routed and ended up with a layover for more than 10 hours in Sydney airport, then the long flights, customs into USA then on to Chicago. Travel is interesting these days but the good news is that all my bags arrived with me! This is an almost deserted Chicago airport as I arrived

I came across some really small bits of a black batting, probably only around 3" square or less, so I put them behind some small joined leftovers and trimmed them, laid them on a larger background piece and joined them together with strips then quilted - makes a great way to use really small bits into quilt as you go blocks......I was using batik leftovers with raw edges
