After chatting with @Steve Thomas yesterday about finding a way to make all members feel part of this amazing new community, we came up with some awesome ideas together. One of them was for members to do mini behind-the-camera vlogs, letting people know more about what they are growing now and in what part of Australia or the World. To make it more fun and interactive, I have created these two cards that can be turned into A2 posters. You will need to ask me for the file and take it to the print shop. They look awesome in my opinion and super original. @Leon Raucci Steve and myself have signed up to take part...let is know below if you want to join in too? We have a man and a woman vlogging in the 1960s with their camera, and as it's the concept of the community, it can't be found anywhere else. technically, they are photo vlogging, hehehe, because video wasn't available then. Anyone in the community who is getting behind the camera to take photos or video with updates is classed as a Garden Creator. I am really looking forward to seeing these mini garden vlogs from you all from behind the camera! These cards are awesome, yes? I honestly feel so blessed to have this community, and it's just getting started. Thank you to all the founding members, your contributions and making everyone feel welcome!

I have been a bit distracted with"life " in the last while. I have ordered supplies and then December will see me finish the chaos garden and I am hoping to start 90 new seedlings. Following along with your bread story, I made classic white and herb/garlic yesterday. During the week I hope I get time for some potato bread. I miss it 😂 It's hot at the moment where I am 40 today... Too hot for me.

Next year, there is also the recycle and repurpose monthly challenge. Where each month, members who want to join in on this repurpose challenge. From what I see, we have two members, @Alisha Hobart and @Kayleen West, and I am sure many more who would like to take part. @Lorna Abrahams I believe likes to recycle too, yes? I will be running the vlogging creators, so it will be up to you, the members, to get this rolling. I think it's an awesome idea, thanks, Alisha. Those who sign up for the monthly repurpose and recycle will receive this card as a way of saying thank you for your contribution. By creating mini events, challenges and vlogs, we can keep making this space a productive, educational, and fun community for all. Please let us all know if you would like to take part in this starting in 2026?

Please share photos or videos here in this new category or on this post. Marty is going to run a vlog along side this and Steve is going to help encourage and inspire all members to be involved. I wanted to give you all a little behind-the-scenes update before I share anything publicly, or on my channel. I’ve just sent the artwork for our first vintage Garden Creator print off to the local print shop to get a test copy made. I’m getting it done on a premium matte finish, so it has that proper old-school, collectible feel. Once it arrives, I’ll film a video showing you: - what it looks like in real life - the detail and colour - how it looks framed on the wall - the whole story behind why I created it I’m thinking of making this a limited run, hand-numbered, and once it’s done, that’s it — no reprints. A real collector’s piece for the community. Just wanted to keep you in the loop and bring you along on the journey. More updates soon once the test print arrives!
