📌 New Hype Phrases?
I keep getting pitched to attend, to watch, to participate in, a once-in-a-lifetime, you-can't-afford-to-miss-it, millionaire-action-plan webinar with messages including phrases like these or others similar: 👉 High-impact, deep-dive session or the opposite, 👉 Relaxed, easy-going conversation 80% or more (that is 4 out of 5, folks) of the few I do attend end up being nothing more than ego-fests telling me how great the presenter is, or fluff-and-stuff nothing-burgers, all leading to a sales pitch for their just-discovered, guaranteed blueprint to 6- or 7-figure success. One even said 8-figure; did they even know what that is? I am seeing so many current marketers slipping into the gilded days of Madison Avenue BS and hype. Is some misguided guru actually teaching this? "Mad Men" is a critically acclaimed television drama set in the 1960s, not a marketing success plan for 2026! Forget the hype. Forget the memes. Forget the bull. Say what you mean and deliver on what you say. Then over deliver. Watch success happen. Going back to first principles is never a bad idea. Horton had it right! 🧩 Introduce Yourself — Let Us Get to Know You!
Welcome again to Your Pathway To Growth Community! This is where we start building real connections. Every member here has a unique story, perspective, and goal; and sharing a little of yours helps everyone feel more at home. Please take a few minutes to post a short introduction in the comments below. You can include any (or all) of these: → Where you are joining us from. → What brought you here, your "why". → One goal, habit, or change you are currently working on. → Something fun or unexpected about you (we like those too). You will find that our community is warm, respectful, and genuinely curious. Your words might be exactly what someone else needs to read today. And if you see another member’s post that resonates, say hello, offer encouragement, or ask a question. That is how friendships and accountability begin here. Growth is the purpose. Change is the path. So, go ahead and introduce yourself below. We are glad you are here.

The Gift of Attention
No matter if it is a holiday, birthday or just a normal day… one easy way to show you care about others is to ask them questions about their life. These 3 are a great place to start. If you have others, please give us a give and share in the comments below. - What are they excited about? - What are they working on? - What are they hoping for? Simply asking the question and listening thoughtfully is an act of generosity. You're giving them the gift of attention

@Dan Murray, a Bulletin Board System (BBS) is liker a self-contained mini-Internet that ran on 1 or more (networked) home computers accessed via a modem over dial-up lines. I am sure @Cass Henry can tell you about the glory days of AMBASSADOR BOARD.
