Stop feeling stuck. Start your 7-day mental reset✨
I’ve just uploaded something special to the Classroom. As a psychologist, I often see how Identity Lag quietly holds people back from their next level. That’s why I created The 7-Day Mind Shift Guide. It’s a simple, step-by-step PDF designed to help align your nervous system with your bigger goals. 📥 You’ll find it in the Classroom tab. I’d love to hear which step resonates with you most. Let’s grow together 🚀

Perfectionism: Just “High-End” Fear? 🎭✨
“Understanding is a three-edged sword: your side, their side, and the truth.” — Carl Rogers In my practice, I often see people wearing Perfectionism like a badge of honor. But look closer through a psychological lens,it’s often just Fear in a fancy suit. The brain’s unspoken rule? “If I do it perfectly, I can’t be criticized or rejected.” A little psychologist secret? 😂 I used to overanalyze my own posts for hours before sharing them—until I realized I was just falling into my own mental trap. Now, I choose Authentic over Perfect every single time. Question for the tribe: Where is Perfectionism stopping you from taking action this week—your business, your health, or your mindset? Let’s unpack it below—No judgments, just insights! 👇

@Edward Holmgren It is! And what’s most powerful is how these “fated” patterns lose their grip once we become aware of them. I’ve noticed that understanding a pattern often changes it. Have you experienced that too?

@Edward Holmgren It’s a game-changer once that shift happens. Happy to hear you've experienced that breakthrough🙂
Your brain is sabotaging your success (on purpose) 🧠
Your brain isn’t designed to make you happy or successful. It’s designed to keep you safe — and alive. So every time you think about stepping outside your comfort zone, your mind pushes back. It throws fear, excuses, and procrastination at you — just to keep things familiar. In psychology, we call this the Survival Mechanism. Ancient software running on modern hardware. The real shift isn’t fighting your brain, it’s recognizing these old patterns — and choosing differently anyway. What’s one “safe” excuse your brain tried to give you this week to stop you from growing? Let’s call it out below — I’ll start 👇

@Edward Holmgren in intense moments, one of the most effective tools is changing how you interpret the feeling, combined with box breathing. Your brain can’t tell the difference between fear and excitement — the body reacts the same way. So instead of trying to “calm down,” tell yourself: “I’m excited.” Pair this with box breathing: inhale 4s, hold 4s, exhale 4s, hold 4s — repeat 3 times. As an athlete, you’ll feel the shift from panic to performance within seconds. Give it a try 💪

@Edward Holmgren I love that mindset, Edward—it’s a great tool 😊 From a neuropsychology perspective, the real secret is the balance between the physical and the mental. What you’re doing works best as a second step. I usually suggest starting with Box Breathing, because calming the amygdala helps “unlock” the brain so it can actually absorb and believe those mantras. Without physical safety first, the mind often struggles. Glad you’re adding this piece to the puzzle 🧠
Hey Everyone 🙋‍♂️
I'm Edward from Finland but currently live in Düsseldorf, Germany. Sports is my passion as I've played football (soccer) competitively for many years, studied sports science, and am currently into running. Grateful to be in the community and looking forward to learn and connect with you all 🙌

@Edward Holmgren Absolutely,! Movement isn’t just about the body — it’s a real brain reset. It helps lower cortisol and boost dopamine, which makes a huge difference in focus. For me, even a short walk can completely shift how my brain performs for the rest of the day. So glad to have your insights here!😊

@Edward Holmgren Spot on, Edward! It’s the simplest tools that often have the biggest impact. Happy walking! 🙌
