Added Upcoming Marathons To The Calendar!
Shout out to @Emily Bailey for the idea and for collecting a list of everyone's upcoming marathons! You'll now find any upcoming milestones on the calendar, if I'm missing any please feel free to comment and I will add them :). You'll also see the name of the community member running the race in the invite so you know who to cheer on! Upcoming races are: ⦁ @Caitlin Palmieri Jackson - NYC Marathon 2026 - November 1, 2026 ⦁ @Audra Hahle - Phoenix Marathon - December 12, 2026 ⦁ @Shawna Delellis - Philadelphia Marathon - November 22, 2026 ⦁ @Annika Olson - Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon - Oct 4, 2026 ⦁ @Dom OBrien - TCS Sydney Marathon - August 30, 2026 ⦁ @Cristina Boose - Every Woman's Marathon 2027 - February 28, 2027 ⦁ @Alison Jones - Boulderthon Marathon - September 27, 2026

Motivational Monday 🏃‍♀️
Hi friends! I interviewed an incredible person on the podcast for today's episode (@carlyschrom if you want to check her out!) and wanted to share some inspiration with you on this fine Monday. Carly was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, had liver surgery at 22, went through months of not being able to run, and then slowly clawed her way back one mile at a time. She ended up running her first marathon at 4:30am on the one year anniversary of her surgery. No bib, no crowd, just her and her boyfriend looping a pond in Wisconsin in the dark in December. Her story was SO full of gratitude for just being able to run, and I think all too often we tend to take being healthy and ABLE to run for granted. So this week I just want us to be grateful for our runs. The slow ones, the tired ones, the ones where you really didn't want to go but you went anyway. We are really lucky to get to do this. Go get after it this week 💪

Thank you!
Wednesdays wins!
Let’s shout em out - big or small!!! My win of the week was getting in my full run yesterday with run club even with temps skyrocketing here in NC 💪💪. I’m not acclimated yet, but moving in the right direction feels great!

@Taylor Sayles how was your half marathon experience in Durham on Saturday? I loved the marathon! I looked for you, of course, but wow that was a big crowd. At least it was fun to know you were there, too. ( :

@Taylor Sayles Congratulations on your two minute PR! That’s a lot. You crushed it while also enjoying your recent wedding and honeymoon! Woot woot. I’ve just started listening to today’s mini episode and can’t wait to hear the rest. I love the overarching message of it so far. Sometimes letting go of time will actually help you do better. That was exactly my case in Durham. I stayed consistently steady, and stopped to shoot a few baskets and hug my husband and friends, and I never hit a wall. I finished in 4:03 which was a happy surprise for my first marathon. Thanks again for your support!
Friday Question ⁉️‼️
What is the craziest/most unhinged thing that’s ever happened to you (or you’ve ever witnessed) during a race?

I’m a mom of 3 and French prof in NC. I'm training for my first marathon - the Garmin marathon in Durham on May 2 - and so grateful for this podcast!
