I started exploring copywriting back in May/June and even took on the 30-draft email challenge—got about halfway through before falling off track. Life happened. I took a job that, while it paid the bills it left me unfulfilled. Months passed, and in September... I quit. One of the first things I did after quitting was sit down with myself and really ask—what kind of life do you want to live? No more half-baked attempts. No more lying to myself and doing work I don’t care about, just for a paycheck and just cause it's 'easier'. Then I opened my Google Drive, where I found the emails I’d started writing. Revisiting them reminded me of the progress I had made and the knowledge I’d gained. It sparked a fire under my arse to finally go all in. Finally earn a living for myself—doing work that challenges me, actually uses my skills and gives me freedom over my time and location. Last night before bed, I was searching my gallery and I found it. A screenshot of a beard oil business on Instagram I took back in September to potentially reach out to and work with. I looked them up and found their account was still active. Then a story ad shows up! I took it as a sign! I clicked the link and was sent onto their landing page and immediately noticed they could use a *much* better one. That’s when I knew this would be my first outreach project. I scribbled into my bujo as one of my tasks for the next day and went to bed. To-do this morning: • Reach out to the beard oil business • Follow the outreach strategy • Send them a draft for a better landing page Tackling the hardest tasks first thing in the morning is what I've heard works best and today onwards is how I will be operating.
