Body isolation
We did Ashley’s body isolation and movement class today. Really enjoyed it, definitely hard to engage the rib cage and the shoulders as we do our steps. Working on my limp hands as well 😬

I’m heading to Chile soon. Every time I travel, I’m reminded of something important: Dance connects us beyond cities. Beyond countries. Beyond accents. Different places.Same rhythm. What we’re building here isn’t just technique. it’s a community that moves together — even if we’re miles apart 🌎 And that’s powerful. So now I’m curious… Where are you dancing from right now? Drop your city or country below 👇Let’s see how far this community really reaches.

How did you start dancing? 👀
Most people think they started because they “liked music.” That’s not true. You started because something inside you wanted more: - More confidence - More movement - More connection - More expression For some of you, it was a party where you felt uncomfortable. For others, it was a video that inspired you.Maybe it was boredom.Maybe it was curiosity. But here’s the real question: 👉 Why did you REALLY decide to start? Take a second and think about it. Was it: - To feel less shy? - To challenge yourself? - To be more social? - To finally try something you kept postponing? Drop your answer below. Understanding why you started is important — because that’s what will keep you going when motivation drops. Remember:You didn’t join just to learn steps. You joined to become someone who dances. Let’s hear your story 👇

I’ve always wanted to learn to dance but was too shy. I could only dance if I had a few drinks. I wanted to learn to dance without the alcohol encouragement, I wanted to be able to motivate myself

My husband Carlos and I started our salsa journey back in February 2025, still taking classes but trying to find our own style. Happy to be here
