🎬 I’VE BEEN IN THE 9:16 LAB!
Most of us cinematic directors are naturally drawn to 16:9 because... It just gives FILM, right? But lately, I’ve been testing, exploring and adjusting my storytelling ads specifically for 9:16, and it definitely changes the way I think about my images, framing, camera movement and how I build the story. And I’m a student right now too. 👩🏾‍💻 So I’ve been learning and experimenting more with video extension features, testing what works, what doesn’t and where these models will have you wasting credits for absolutely no reason. 🙄 Once I’ve worked through it and have my tips, tricks and workflow together, I’ll be dropping a module inside the classroom (STORYTELLING ADS) so y’all can try your hand at it without having to do all the expensive experimenting first. For now... I’m dropping my latest “Someone’s Home” storytelling ad below. I’ve been having FUN exploring these Storytelling ads. Quick tip - If your not using capcut. I highly recommend learning a few editing tips! ;) That module is inside the classroom.

Yes I love doing 9:16. I also create my images in 4:5 ratio
DIRECTORS 👀 POST YOUR WORK!
If your goal is to gain clients, people need to SEE what you can do. Start sharing your videos. Start talking about your offer. Let people know you're AVAILABLE and accepting clients. AI campaigns, commercials and storytelling promos are booming right now. I've had countless inquiries over the last couple of weeks alone. I'm currently revamping my Digi Dollz commercial services, and I LOVE referring leads when I can't take on a project or when another creator may be a better fit. But I need to know who's READY. 👀 If you're actively offering AI commercials, campaigns or promo services, post your work inside the Collective and tell me what you offer? And if you want to get your feet wet posting outside of the Collective, you can also share your work inside the AI Commercial & Film Group Lets Work 🙌🏽🫶 https://www.facebook.com/share/g/14mr8GtSRfV/

Yes! 🙋🏾‍♀️ CineLuxe Media is READY and actively taking on AI commercial and brand storytelling projects. 🎬 What I offer: • Cinematic AI commercials & video ads • Story-driven brand campaigns • Branded micro dramas & mini movies • Character-led product storytelling • Multi-part commercial campaigns • Full creative development such as concept, scripting, storyboarding & final video My biggest differentiator is STORYTELLING which includes the product as the HERO without making it a salesy ad. I build a story around the brand. The product can become part of a relationship, a funny moment, a secret, a problem, a reveal, a lifestyle or even an entire mini movie. My goal is to make the audience interested in what happens next while the brand is naturally woven into the experience. That means I can take a client from a traditional 15–30 second commercial all the way to a multi-part branded story campaign designed to keep their audience coming back. I’m absolutely open to referrals, overflow projects and collaborations when you have a client who needs strong storytelling and cinematic creative direction. This is just a few. I have a range and variety of commercials that I direct.

🎬 DIRECTORS, EVERYBODY TAP IN!
I wanna see where everybody is on their AI video journey right now. 👀 How long have you been creating AI videos? ✨ Brand new... I’m just getting started ✨ Less than 6 months ✨ 6 months to 1 year ✨ Over 1 year... I’ve been outside 😂 I started when AI video basically gave us MOTION. That was it. 😂 Then we graduated to a whole THREE SECONDS max and thought we were doing something! So seeing what we can create NOW is still crazy to me. Drop yours in the comments! 👇🏽 I wanna see who we have in the room because we’ve got creators at ALL different levels inside The Digi Collective. 🎬🔥

I have been doing AI videos about 3 years when the generators first came on the scene. Now I have different areas that I am in, but they actually are all still combined together. My lane is the commercial with very different styles of commercials. I have the micro dramas on lock as well. I just blend them all together. I am still learning so much. I have become intentional with creating commercials for real brands and pitching it to them. Super excited about this space. I finally figured it out what and how I want to do this and even though there are many different things, I now have found the path where they all work together!! 😁
🎬 DIRECTORS: LET’S TALK ABOUT GETTING CLIENTS
One of the questions I see a lot is “How do I start getting clients?” There’s no magic formula, but I can tell you what I’ve been doing. I’ve been sharing my AI work publicly for over 2 years. Not just the finished videos. I’ve shared my growth, what I’m learning, my wins, my process AND what I offer. Because here’s the thing, people can’t hire you for something they don’t know what you do. So if getting clients is one of your goals, you have to start positioning yourself accordingly. Here are a few places I’d start: 📌 POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA WITH INTENTION Don’t just post a commercial and disappear. Talk about what you created. Why you created it. What problem you were solving. Share your process, your growth and your wins. Let people repeatedly see what you do. 📌 USE THESE FACEBOOK GROUPS! There are business owners, creators and potential clients sitting inside groups every day. If it’s not a promotional day, don’t sell but add value. Share your work when appropriate. Join conversations. Let people become familiar with your name and what you create. 📌 UTILIZE DIFFERENT PLATFORMS LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook don’t all have to get the exact same message. Think about who is on each platform and why you’re showing up there. Test your messaging and learn where your ideal clients are paying attention. 📌 ENGAGE WITH THE BRANDS YOU WANT TO WORK WITH I’m still learning and building on this one myself! Follow the brands. Comment on their content. Pay attention to their campaigns. Learn how they communicate. Start building genuine familiarity with the brands you’d eventually love to work with, whether through creative projects or brand partnerships. 📌 BE CONSISTENT People are watching LONG before some of them ever inquire. Keep showing your work. Keep improving. Keep reminding people what you do. 📌 DO THE OUTREACH Yes, EMAIL THEM. Introduce yourself. Show them relevant work. Tell them why you think you could bring value to their brand. You’re going to hear some no’s. You’re going to get ignored sometimes. Send the next email anyway.

Definitely great info @Coach Toy Laster . Just FYI....I have been getting a lot of authors for clients because they're wanting visuals to their words. I think a lot of them want their books turned into movies but this is a different way for them to see it without the Hollywood process. I am not doing movies for them, but a 30 to 60 second clip is what they like.
🎬 THE FALL SLOW MOTION PROMPT IS INSIDE THE NEW MODULE.
The exact prompt I used for the slow motion fall is inside the new Cinematic Storytelling module. Its inside the prompt section. The video tutorial is coming soon. But don’t just copy and paste it. STUDY IT. 👀 Look at the structure. The details. The camera direction. The movement. The pacing. How I described what I wanted to happen AND how I wanted it to feel. Then revise it. Tweak it. Make it work for YOUR brand, business or story. Because everybody prompts differently. The goal isn’t for you to prompt exactly like me. I want you to understand what I’m telling the model and WHY. That’s where you start moving from simply prompting to DIRECTING. 🎬 And we’ve got a few new modules coming. 👀🔥 🎬 New Directors Roadmap 🎙️ Voice Cloning 🎥 Cinematic Storytelling Promos ads We’re leveling UP.
