聖誕節家家戶戶都有的傳統是看 Christmas movies， 以前我常想那到底是什麼東西？ 為什麼可以一而再再而三的每年重複看？ Christmas movies 的定義顧名思義，只要是聖誕節為背景的故事都符合資格。 通常都是浪漫喜劇（rom com）、滑稽喜劇（slapstick comedy）、動畫（animation）或劇情片（drama），但是近幾年聖誕恐怖片（horror）和動作片（action）也蠻多的。 因為大家都會在每年重複觀看， 很多電影已經經典到不能再經典，聊天隨口一兩句都是電影台詞梗， 這個時候不在美國長大的外語者（me 🙋🏻‍♀️）心裡常常想：「It's a classic for YOU.
