Last week on the community Zoom call, one of the topics we talked about was: What is holding you back? And I shared that I still sometimes put myself down because of my age. The response I got was really beautiful ✨ and I was also challenged to make a video about it. I actually tried to record one last week. It didn’t work out, but I still got a lot out of the process 🌱. Today I made a big decision. I decided to step away from my career as a tattoo artist. This isn’t coming from anger or failure. It’s coming from honesty. It no longer feels aligned with who I am becoming, and I can’t continue doing something I don’t fully burn for. And if I’m being completely real… I’m both excited and scared. Scared about money. Scared about the unknown. Scared of stepping away from something that has been part of my identity for years. But I also know I can’t stay somewhere just because it’s safe. I’m sharing this because maybe someone out there is sitting with the same feeling — knowing it’s time for change, but being afraid to move. If that’s you, you’re not alone.
