How Growing in Wisdom Enriches All Your Relationships
Hey everyone! As you dive into today’s wisdom journey, think about how you can apply these insights to enrich all the relationships in your life. Let’s keep growing together! Thanks Rick. Well said.
What God can do
Keith, when we do that Zoom, I'd like to talk about "the boating experience," as you always say. I don't think people understand that, and I'd like to help them understand. The "Bust.Out.Another.Thousand" expression just doesn't apply when you follow Jesus Christ. So much has changed in our little family since you've been helping me -- and that fact that my son and I are on the water together now. I have to pay that back to another family now. I was going to buy a motor from a guy in Houston. I went there, trying to get his roached out motor for the lowest possible price, and found that someone had horn-swaggled him and his son -- worse than me. Everything was bad on the motor he bought. I can't believe that the guy was able to get it to run and sold to someone. In any case, my search for profit -- this time -- has turned into helping out this family during Christmas. Same story. A ten year old boy, sad, becuase the boat his Dad bought for them won't run. It's a wonder they weren't hurt out on the water. His name is Juilo. His son is 10, named Aless, and he moved here, legally, from Cuba after his father passed 6 years ago. Julio takes care of his elderly mother, a 10 year old boy (don't think the mom is in the picture) -- with an old sewing machine and a AMAZING talent upholstery. You should see his work. The Holy Spirit has moved me to help this family. My story and his story are too similar. I'm going to make a trip to Louisiana for a 25" midsection and some parts. I'm going to get this yound boy, Aless, a working motor for Christmas. And his Dad is going to do the upholstery work I need done for Atticus

What a great testimony and story. Praise God.
Day 239
Monday I came to a realization that made me think. I had some neck and shoulder tightness the previous week but until Monday morning I did not realize why. I had thought I slept wrong or maybe pulled something working in the garden or the shop. But on the way to work thinking of all the things I need to do , the tightness came back. That’s when I realized I need to give all this to God more. I was once again relying on my own abilities and not truly giving it to God. My new role teaching has got me doing more thinking than ever in my life. I have to keep the kids engaged or things go off the rails. So I move forward, asking our Father in heaven to guide me and help me as I build this new calling and honor you. Along the way I ask for peace and to let go trusting that You Father God will guide me well not rely solely on myself

@David Keith McGowan yes sir.
Volume 3 Finishing together
As I read through the preface of Sean’s 3rd edition in the proverbs 12x devotional. I think about the students that God has blessed me with to teach and the importance of wisdom that they need as well as I do. As I begin reading I pray and ask God to help me retain and understand what I am reading so that I can gain more of his wisdom for all areas of my life.

You continue to be an encouragement to me Keith. I praise God for how we connected. Your consistency, diligence and commitment to absorbing the material and applying it to your everyday life is a huge encouragement to me. Stay encouraged brother. Those kids are so blessed to have you be part of their life and world during this season.

@David Keith McGowan you can teach principles of wisdom, self mastery, wealth, creation and relationship wisdom without actually “scripture. Though the proverbs are principal Bass, they’re not overly religious. So you could say you know one of the things I learned from Solomon is…
Day 250 The Diligent Hand
The provoking question today is :” where are you delaying diligent effort because the conditions seem unfavorable?” What harvest are you risking? As soon as I read that I think of branching out into commercial hvac consulting. I can tell you busy with important things but how does that help me. Is what I am doing today giving me and my family the best ROÍ? I always will have things to do but I need to take a step of faith and ask God to help me with the time and abilities to do it.

Amen brother it is always a step of faith if we are going to "FOLLOW ME" (Jesus). I was listening to a short message this morning that reminded me of the need to have a tent mindset Its a reminder that we walk by faith! Here is some of the info: Have a “Tent Mindset”! Welcome to our second week of meditation! In order to live out Christ’s second command, we must comprehend the rich insights of a “tent mindset.” “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). Those who heard the call to follow Jesus understood that it required forsaking their former way of life and being trained by Him as a disciple. This is consistent with God’s call to Abraham. Abraham was told to leave his land, kindred, and father’s house and follow the Lord to a land of promise. In the process, he learned the mindset of a tent-dweller. When Abraham’s descendants went down to Egypt (symbolic of the world), they lost their tent perspective. Soon the pressure of their bondage caused them to cry out to God for deliverance.
