This weekend I had a competition and I’m happy with the results I swam. It could’ve been better, but now I know exactly which mistakes to focus on for the National Championship. I swam new PBs 100fly 1:03.74 50fly 28.12

Hi my name is Daisy and I am 12 years old, I live in the UK, Bournemouth. My goal in the future is to become an Olympic swimmer and race for England. I have started the visualisation challenge but some times I accidentally fall asleep when doing it! 😂 My favourite race is the 1500 free and my best/favourite stroke is FC. I have a lot of support from my mum and dad, they take me to the early morning sessions and watch swimming videos to try and help me to improve my technique, so I can implement it in my training sessions. I’m currently swimming at county level but am really wanting to get to regionals next year. With your help and guidance I’m sure I will achieve this. Looking forward to meeting you all in August.

So I just finished the first day of my competition. I swam the 400m freestyle and it was straight finals I dropped 9 seconds and came 4th in the 17 and over age category which I'm very happy about. However I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't get 3rd I was so close and I feel like maybe I should have pushed harder

So basically I woke up quite early this morning, And instead of walking around or making myself something to eat I had the brilliant idea to maybe just visualize a short race, like the 50 free, I obviously didn't consider the fact that I was still a bit drowsy so I closed my eyes(all motivated)ready to visualize and.....dozed for like another 10 min🤦‍♂️🤦 Never doing g that mistake again 💯 🤣🤣 Wake up properly before doing something that requires you to close your eyes 👀 ✨ 😴
