Collecting data - optimal estrodiol level
Out of curiosity - I know we are all different and such but I’m super curious what your all feeling best at with estradiol levels, like what level did you settle at that made you feel you were happy and healthy and optimal?

I just started estradiol because my estrogen levels have dropped since the previous blood tests. I’m currently taking .5 two times a week. My symptoms prior warranted adding estradiol, however they didn’t want to add it just yet till blood showed the drop. I’m only two week in so far I’m noticing a little improvement and think we are on a good track.
Introduction
Hello, thank you for accepting my request to join this Skool group. I am 51 years old, who has struggled with hypothyroidism since my early 20s and now Hashiomotos and perimenopause. I think at this point in life I’m on the best track I ever have been and moving in a good direction. My current medication protocol is BHRT, levoxyl, reta, ghk-cu, NAD+ plus several supplements. I’ve lost 32 pounds and looking to lose another 50. My biggest obstacle is the fatigue. I’m not exercising like I know I should be, however I am still trying to figure out what would be the best way to incorporate that in knowing my body. I’d rather sleep. lol anyways, I look forward to our discussions and learning from all of you.
Love it or leave it: perimenopause/menopause hair loss edition šŸ™ƒ
Here are some of the most common hair regrowth ā€œhacksā€ you guys ask about with Kaylyn's opinionsšŸ‘‡šŸ» āŒ Biotin: Biotin is a great for hair growth, but it doesn’t address the underlying hormonal issues causing hair loss during perimenopause. āœ… Saw Palmetto: LOVE! This a a super effective natural DHT blocker, so it helps with hair loss, hair thinning, hair breakage, ingrown hairs on the body, hormonal acne, and facial hair growth. (BUY HERE) āœ… Minoxidil: This works even better when you pair it with Saw Palmetto. It will help your hair grown back in even faster. (You can purchase topical minoxidil OTC) āš ļø Red Light Therapy: Red light therapy is great as long as you are using a red light source with at least 600nm. Anything less than that won’t be very effective. āš ļø Spironolactone: This is fine for hormonal acne & water retention, but it wouldn’t be my first choice for hair growth specifically. (Although it does work) āœ… Pumpkin Seed Oil: This is very similar to Saw Palmetto, but I actually prefer this as a scalp/hair mask to reduce DHT at the root. āŒ Finasteride: Finasteride is the pharmaceutical version of Saw Palmetto. (It does work though.) āš ļø PRP (platelet-rich plasma): This treatment has many incredible benefits for skin rejuvenation & joint injuries (tendonitis, etc). It can definitely be used for hair loss, but results may vary. Let me know what we should cover next?! šŸ¤”

I purchased Minoxidil OTC. On the instructions there is a suggestion to not use if you’re a woman. lol. What are the potential reasons this would be stated? I mean I’m take testosterone so….. lol
