Hey, I’m 18 years old, and so far I’ve made about $1k online with my email marketing service for online coaches. 2 weeks ago, I signed my biggest client so far — $500 initial setup deal with 10% commission. But even now, I feel unsure if I can really get him results. He says he’s happy with the service, but sales haven’t come through yet. I guess it’s because email marketing is more of a long-term game. Right now, I’m kinda lost about what I really want to do. Part of me wants to go broader... learn design, build a stronger service-delivery system, and start targeting e-commerce stores on Upwork. From what I see, e-com stores seem to need email marketing even more than info people. Basically, the plan is to target coaches through cold outreach and content, and focus on e-commerce via Upwork. What would you suggest?

I created an Upwork account today and already sent my first 3 proposals. The way I write my proposals kind of differs. What I do is basically send them the value upfront (which is email copy, because I help info biz owners, mostly Skool owners, grow through emails). Do you think it’s a good idea to stop doing cold outreach and focus on Upwork proposals and building a strong personal brand? (I am active on X and created a newsletter a few days ago). What do you think?
