Hi everyone! 👋

I'm Beata from Massachusetts. I joined a while back because the nervous system has become such an important piece of both my personal and professional journey. Life became unexpectedly full after I joined, so I'm just now getting the chance to really dive into the community. I'm excited to learn from all of you. For those who've been here for a while... What originally brought you to somatic breathwork, and what's been the biggest shift you've noticed since you started?

Hi Beata -- lovely name you have, "blessed"! I am new, so shifts are yet to come, but I am drawn to somatic breathwork because it seems to be the next step. I am a certified spiritual director (spiritual directors don't tell anyone what to do -- they just listen and accompany people on their path. A better term would be spiritual midwife.) I work with very marginalized people and I need to be able to listen even more deeply. I hope to be able to offer them what I think somatic breathwork has to offer.
