hi i am new here can anyone guide like where to start

I know $1k isn't a huge number to some, but for me it's proof that slow, boring consistency actually works. It wasn't a straight line. At one point my Job Success Score dropped to 69% and I genuinely thought about quitting. I just kept showing up delivering clean work, communicating clearly, and treating every small project like it mattered. The score is back to 100% now, and most of my recent clients have either come back for more work or reached out to me directly. 3 things that actually moved the needle: 1. Over-communicate. Clients don't just buy code they buy a calm, clear process. 2. Treat the $100 job like a $1,000 one. The reviews from small jobs are what win you the big ones. 3. Don't let a bad week define you. Setbacks are recoverable if you keep delivering. Grateful for this community a lot of the mindset shifts came from lurking and learning here.
