There’s an app I’ve been using lately called NotebookLM and it’s been very useful for learning and sharpening my skills, especially with outreach. The way I use it - is pretty simple. It feels less like “reading” and more like listening to a podcast or being in a small classroom. There are two different voices, so it almost feels like a discussion instead of a monologue. What I usually do is this: After I've watched one of Tyson’s videos. I take the YouTube URL paste it into the app, and then start listening to it. - You can ask questions. - You can disagree. - You can go back and forth like you’re debating with two students in a class. It’s solid for learning during downtime, especially after you’ve finished work and don’t feel like staring at another screen. You just listen, ask questions, and refine your thinking. Being a One Girl Guy. (That one girl doesn't exist only in dreams.) But I always wished that one day she would come and meet me. Because I’m an introvert. (Moral: As a freelancer, you must make the first move. Either provide value to others or be visible on social media.)** Exactly one year ago, I saw a girl. She was beautiful—not like the girls in magazines. So it took me three months to DM her. (Moral: If you get an opportunity to work with a client, approach first. If you don’t, someone else will.)** Finally, after texting for a few days, I stopped sending messages. For 14 weeks, there wasn’t a single message from her side. (Moral: If you’re selling something to someone who doesn’t even have 1% interest in you, congratulations—you’re wasting your time.)** A few weeks ago, I confessed my love to her. Luckily, I was learning copywriting. So I used every copywriting technique I knew to write my love letter. And you know what? She said “NOooo.” then I understand that I had chosen the wrong person. (Moral of the story: You must do market research and know your target audience.)** Thank you.
