What I mean by that is ... I was an idiot. As a beginner, you've gone through a million mistakes. When I was learning copywriting, I always wrote it with my favourite pencil. I was writing and erasing and writing over it. The reason I mentioned myself as an idiot is that, Idiot is not the one who makes mistakes. But the one who makes the same mistakes several times. The realisation pushed me to K!ll my darling (pencils) then on I carry two colour pens. BLUE: to write RED: to point out and explain the mistake I have made. Dedicated a Google doc to capture all of my mistakes. review your old copies every single week.

Most copywriters' outreach sucks. But not for the reasons you might think. Every time they sit down to find prospects to outreach to... They aim at the wrong targets. Here's what I mean: They'll DM some Instagram "whale" with 500k followers, and if they get a reply? Boom... they're already dreaming about the Lambo they're buying next month. 😂 But here's the reality: A lot of these massive accounts are just influencers selling some cheap products. They're not real businesses, and they won't be able to pay you. So? When you're outreaching, you need to be way more careful about who you're targeting. Your prospects HAVE to sell a high-ticket program, coaching, or some kind of premium offer. Otherwise, you're just wasting your time and energy on people who can't afford you anyway. Put your efforts in the right direction, and you'll see the results of your hard work. But hold on! This is only ONE reason why most copywriters' outreach sucks.
