The Just Thinking classroom on Hustle Culture really put words to something I’ve felt for a long time—speed isn’t always discipline, and urgency can quietly erode clarity.

Hello!
Hi everyone — I’m Sam. I work in behaviour support and parent education, and I’m also building a coaching space focused on helping parents strengthen their capacity, clarity, and steadiness in real life (especially when things are messy or high-stress) - The Grove Parenting Hub I joined this community because I care a lot about how we show up in our work — not just what we offer. Clear scope, ethical practice, thoughtful language, and sustainability matter to me, especially when working with people who are vulnerable or seeking guidance. I appreciate spaces that prioritise reflection over hype and encourage us to think carefully about positioning, responsibility, and long-term impact. I’m here to learn, reflect, and sharpen how I hold my own work — both for the people I support and for myself. Looking forward to the conversations here. https://www.skool.com/the-grove-collective-6044
📌 Why Overwhelm Is Information, Not a Personal Flaw
Overwhelm is often treated as a personal failure, but it is actually information; a signal that something no longer fits. In today's reflection, I explore why overwhelm appears, what it is trying to tell us, and how clarity begins through subtraction, not added pressure. The full post is available in "Just Thinking", my journal/blog where I share key experience and learning from my own life journeys. Access with Premium tier.

This resonates. I’ve definitely had to learn this and I still catch myself forgetting. Reframing overwhelm as information rather than failure has helped me slow down and listen to what I need, instead of pushing harder or adding more pressure. The idea that clarity often comes through subtraction really landed for me. It’s something I’m hoping to explore more with parents in the The Grove Parenting Hub as well. Hoping to create a space for to parents to slow down, notice what’s not fitting, and reduce pressure rather than automatically adding more! Thanks again @Stephen B. Henry for the great insight! https://www.skool.com/the-grove-collective-6044
