This Mom of 5 is CRUSHING Business!
I just had the pleasure of speaking with @Claudia Lopez. And man, am I inspired! This woman is running a thriving online business… From her car. In between school drop-offs. With five kids. 😳🔥 Claudia runs Winning on Purpose, a Skool community teaching people how to make money online with daily moves that bring leads + sales. She started her community last February because her inbox was blowing up with customers, and she needed one central place to serve them. Result? 🚀 Almost 1,000 members 🌎 Clients in India, Canada, Australia, UK 💰 Consistent income through digital affiliate marketing 🧠 A simple “6 Moves” framework so her members don’t spiral into overwhelm Her philosophy is beautifully simple: “Do the boring repeatable habits.” As someone who talks constantly about avoiding burnout and building rhythm instead of chaos… I deeply respect how she’s doing this. We talked about doing a more formal interview together to share her story. What do you think? Should we have her on as a guest?

Very cool. So awesome to hear about you @Claudia Lopez
Little signs
Sometimes the universe just gives you little signs you’re in the right place… Like today, I went on a drive to get lunch. I was heading to a juice shop, but then found a ramen place and decided to go there instead. (I’m a bit of a slut for some ramen) Inside, what’s playing but Avatar the Last Airbender? And a scene with my favorite character, no less. Uncle Iroh! What little signs have you noticed lately that made you feel like, “yup, I’m in the right place!”?

For me, anytime I run into a favorite artist song in the background in a public place. (I like to call it hearing it in the wild, since I wasn't the one making it play.) Most of the time it's a Roxette song playing in the background., I just know I was meant to hear it. It really catches my attention even more if it was just an album track that was never a single. Most people won't know those unless they bought the album. One of the most weird song "signs" I encountered was the time an Ace of Base song came on. It wasn't one of their popular songs, it was a song from an album that was never released in this country. I had the album in my collection at home so I knew the song well, but it should never have been on the sound system in the public place I was in at that time. And as an amusing thing, anytime I am contemplating the decision to make a career change, the song "I'm Free" by Jon Secada always seems to find me on some public sound system. In the lyrics, the line, "Things are only as important as I want them to be" is what resonates with me most. It reminds me that I don't need to fret over the decision on whether or not to make the change, I'm better off making the change and having the new experience. When I left my last job, I wasn't sure the song would find me since my listening habits had changed. I no longer listened to radio, I don't frequent many places with a public music system and the song is a lot older since my previous job change. But it did find me. It made me feel a lot better about my decision to leave the company I was with.

@Rose Colbourne A fun tip to get more enjoyment out of the Swedish Chef sketches in the original Muppet Show is that the hands were performed by Frank Oz while the head was Jim Henson. Often Frank was taking the lead leaving Jim to having to react to whatever Frank did with the hands. So if you look for it, you see the head is not in charge of the sketch.

@Rose Colbourne my pleasure. Just got in my brand new hat. Took it out in public for a little bit today
The one-song rule saved my business
@Emily Satel introduced me to this rule that's made my life so much easier... If a task takes less than one song length to complete: DO IT NOW. No "I'll do it later." No adding to the list. No overthinking. Result: • Inbox stays manageable • Tasks don't pile up • Mental load decreases ADHD brains need friction-free systems. What micro-habit changed everything for you?

Riding high on the vibes from the revival episode of the Muppet Show that aired a couple days ago on ABC and Disney+. It feels like they finally got the Muppets right, which is not something that could be said of most Disney Muppet projects. I might be biased but I thought it was really good. I don't really know much about Sabrina Carpenter, but she looked like she really wanted to be there and was game to play in the world of the Muppets making her a great choice as the guest star.

@Bill Widmer Give it a watch if you have Disney+, the future of it becoming a series is dependant on some traction on this episode. The good news is it's getting very positive reviews.
