Celebrating my first official Event ! Moving to the next
Hello Everyone, Nice to meet you all 👋 After recently becoming certified as an Event Designer then starting my business. Last month I launched publicly Well I was hired to do a Bridal Shower that was this past weekend and it included drapery (didn't add it to my fee) it was a success! They hired me to do their wedding in July ( I want to add drapery to my fee ) which brings me here ! Im ready 💃

The Costly Lesson of Pricing Mistakes
I have quickly learned the importance of valuing my time and refusing to allow others to undervalue the work I provide. Yesterday, I had to make the difficult decision to stand firm on my pricing with a former client who had become accustomed to receiving services at no cost. While partly my fault, those days are over! That decision may ultimately cost me a client, I recognize that it will be a necessary part of doing business.

Priceless Words of Wisdom & Lessons Learned
Yesterday I had the opportunity to listen to the replay of a live broadcast done by CEO Precious Stevens. During the broadcast she shared precious gems from her journey over the past 10 years; by the way, congratulations on 10 years! Just want to take a moment to say “Thank You” for sharing all of those words of wisdom. I HEARD YOU!! I’m new to the tribe and a new business owner so I’m working hard to get myself up and going with everything. And it’s super important to me to be intentional with all of my decisions, to ensure I don’t make the same mistakes I’ve made in the past. When she said CEO energy is different and to show up like a CEO, that hit different. It made me immediately think different. THANK YOU! Another gem she shared was, give God something to bless. Stop sitting on the gifts He’s given you. In her words, BABY! That was a Word. Going to get it …. Let’s go!! Thank you Precious for being so transparent and sharing your journey.
