Need them Dev and Design eyes
Hi everyone, Apologies for being MIA, I have been caught up trying to learn some backend to add to my crypto app and also sharpening the algos. Midst of all that, I was feeling slightly burnt out and decided to build out a one pager portfolio as an elevator pitch. It is still a WIP and have much to add. Needed your help to spot any issues or any recommendations are highly appreciated. I have gone ahead and added projects that I picked up in the course as a showcase, as many on them cover quite a lot of ground. Please do let me know your thoughts as to improvements and suggestions. Thank you once again fellow devs :) live link : https://portfolio-psi-bice-26.vercel.app/

@LaurieSue Peterson thank you :)
This girl got her dream job 🥳
I'm super happy, super proud to announce that tonight the co-founder of my dream company called me to say:"you've got the job"! Thank you so much @Cristian Florea for your support, for your just awesome mentorship, you've been a key pawn in my journey and I'm so grateful for the day my husband told me : " I found you a mentor". To all of you in this community I'm saying this: - Keep your enthusiasm up, it's the key ingredient to your success - Keep grinding and focusing on what you can do every day to achieve your goals - Go the extra mile, don't just do the basics, look for ways to expand your knowledge and do more than what Cristian tells you to do - When you get to the job search part, the most important thing is to be confident, honestly, 80% is attitude and 20% is skills when it comes to marketing yourself. ( the guy who hired me told me he had more skilled candidates but what landed me the job was my positive energy, good vibe and can-do attitude). - Don't focus on the money, focus on your purpose. Money will follow. Thank you @Elias Fairfield for your continuous support. I love this community and gave it 💯. And it gave back to me. For any questions, advice , tips or just some motivation, my DM is always open, here or on linkedin. PS this is me on the day of my first "hello world".

@Cristian Florea https://codepen.io/JoshTillmanSD/pen/WbrxxBB?editors=1011 Issue: A portion of my mobile @media query is totally misaligned. For the life of me, I can't figure out why 😅 I appreciate everyone's help as always. Apart from these minor issues, I'm proud of myself for putting in the work. No social media, no going out, no video games, no days off from learning. I'm fully immersed in JavaScript like my life depends on it. It's a fun language and I'm having a blast learning.

Really good article on UI/UX for developers

Crypto Review
https://crypto-app-dun-alpha.vercel.app/ fixed a thousand tiny things (alignment, hover colors etc.), and took some ideas from the Coingecko site as well. Let me know what you think? 👀

Hi @Thomas Stephenson , firstly the app looks clean on light mode, using skeletons is a nice touch. Completely agree with @Mioara Cenusa and @Prudhvi Raj Maddukuri. Kindly find few pointers from my end below: Suggestions: 1) A scroll to top button would really be beneficial while scrolling through the table 2) Consistency in using skeletons where needed, eg: coin page before the data loads 3) In the coin page, the end graph can be presented with a background as it looks like a line is floating 4) ShadCN has a beautiful calendar component that you can utilise which makes the UI and UX way better: https://ui.shadcn.com/docs/components/calendar 5) If an icon fails to be displayed, a fallback image or a background color would be beneficial 6) Two clicks to toggle the theme is not really required, try to toggle the switch in one click rather than displaying the drop down, as we do not have multiple options a single click will feel more intuitive, thus reducing user input fatigue. Bug Fixes: 1) In the convertor tab the seconds ticker does not tick until I add more numbers or click on the switch button. Attaching quick references below: Hope this helps. Cheers.
