Pomodoro Beast - Last Vanilla Project
Can't believe this one took 3 weeks lol... Spent longer refactoring and polishing than building the app :D Although I'm always obsessed with performance, this time I've come up with something that's far from efficient! Deep nestings, wierd math, high frequency updates, recursion, callback hell,....💀 Loaded with too many edge cases... Used subtle, unnoticable fixes for a few unexpected issues like for reordering tasks. Finally, you can now modify the durations and number of cycles, and rearrange tasks using drag and drop and it can save locally and remember your settings and tasks including the ongoing task. Everything was build from scratch including audios using JS native stuff, except the confetti, just to avoid writing a whole new physics engine for that xD. Anyway, let me know if anything seems broken (cuz it probably does) or you guys have any feedback... Pomodoro App

@Prudhvi Raj Maddukuri Hell yeah. Your javascript here is wild. I don’t understand most of it which is fine. I need to get back on project mode
Update
Since I haven’t been seen in Skool for a bit I thought I’ll let everyone know I’m still here. I’ve been studying JavaScript and writing cardio for the better part of 3 weeks. I just haven’t posted anything is all. Don’t want anyone to think I fell off 💪🏻 I hope everyone is doing good and staying busy.

@Monica Ular Thanks. That means a lot 🙏🏻

@Selina Lavery I felt bad because I wasn’t doing projects and uploading them here. But I realized this cardio and brushing up on concepts is just as valuable. It’s not a race 🙏🏻
Playing with Querying elements
https://codepen.io/kitsunemochi-star/pen/JoXXQmm, I made a mood changer, something simple to practice querying elements seeing as I noticed I was getting a bit rusty, I ended up practicing some CSS as well. Fun exercise, enjoy.

Cool little project bro. I took a look at your post and didn’t see any of the JavaScript projects. I think you’re ready to dive in and knock them out

@Boaz King I feel you on that. What you don’t realize now is these projects are easy. Think of them as little bite sized projects teaching you simple concepts. Hardest part is mustering up the courage to start on them. Embrace getting stuck and push past that pain. When you go to sleep your mind will create those pathways for you and you’ll come back .3% smarter the next day 💪🏻
ToDo App
This drag n drop effect drove me crazy! Wanted to replicate the DnD effect like in the video, but I'm kinda satisfied with what I've got for now. :D Using Local Storage for the first time... Let me know if you guys have any feedback! ToDo App

@Prudhvi Raj Maddukuri Facts. That’s something I practice. But just so you’re aware I had a job scare recently. I bumped into a girl at work and was suspended for a week. That not only ate into my limited amount of funds for food (still paying off this program) I was at risk at losing my job. Which would have meant me being homeless in about a week in a half. And here in America our government is shut down so no food stamps. I was one week from being homeless and starving with no money in my account. My entire life was sitting on my chest for about a week while I waited in agony for the results. That anxiety made me unable to build. Trying to deal with data and loops while the looming threat of starving in the dirt didn’t mix well. I did the best next thing which was stay productive with studying and design. I have to rev my building engine back up is all 💪🏻

Apple.com Clone corrections
@Cristian Florea https://codepen.io/PinkBeeMe/pen/MYKEqPv?editors=1100 I went through the great feedback that y'all gave me and gave it another go. It may not be there yet, but I do believe it is a lot closer...lol. I hope you have a chance to give it another look. Thank you for your time; it really helps me a lot. Let me have it.... the good, the bad, the ugly :) P.S. My CSS Stylesheet is a bit better...maybe, but not great. I have started over so many times and just kept on changing class names and styling conventions and "not taking out the trash" or cleaning up the old discarded stuff that no longer has any relevance to the HTML code...Now, it scares me to death that I might accidentally erase something important and break everything. So, I cleaned it up (a little)...But not much. FEAR won out today. So, sorry about that mess. Thanks again.

There’s still quite a bit of inconsistency between your clone and the Apple site. I challenge you to find these so you can train your eye 💪🏻
