How in fabric can i call an api with multiple pages?
Hi i need to call an api that has a limit on its record count and it spread across multiple pages. A good public example of such an api is rickandmortyapi.com/api/character ive been going down the path of pulling the api data and manipulating it in a fabric notebook by importing requests and looping through pages. however in every fabric example when they source from an api they always advocate using data factory/datapipeline. i cant seem to find an example on how to handle paging through the results as every example seems to call a single page. any help would be appreciated . @Will Needham thanks soo much thatโ€™s perfect. It seems in fabric there are multiple different ways to do the same thing. I always have the feeling Iโ€™m doing it the wrong way. Many thanks

Just passed the dp-600 exam today. thanks so much @Will Needham this content was amazing. its been 20 years since i first passed sql server 2000 cert with fabrics distant ancestor DTS :) its a bit scary getting out of your comfort zone with SSIS/SSAS and trying something new but your efforts are really appreciated.

Experience playing with fabric is a must. Ive been trying to get it to work since it launched. Donโ€™t be afraid to try new features I have a big history in bi with sql but ive found leaning pyspark really interesting. I did all the fabric ms learning path before I found this site and youtube series and I really struggled with the ms learn content. In terms of Tips I would recommend a lot of the guy in a cube content. About 30% of the exam topics where not directly covered in these videos. MS also organised the fabric in a day sessions which was really useful.

Hi, I'm Ross, I'm from the uk, Ive worked with sql server and BI since sql server 7 and DTS. Im quite familiar with SSIS/SSAS. ive been working with power bi for a number of years. I'm really interested in learning more about how fabric can fill the gaps of these old on prem tools. i have the DP-600 exam booked. ive been through the ms learn content a few times but found it hard going . really enjoying how well presented out this content is.
