🏆🔥 ANIME TOURNAMENT CHAMPION 🔥🏆
After weeks of voting, debating, defending favourites and making some brutal choices… 👑 Dragon Ball is officially our community’s FAVOURITE ANIME 👑🐉 From the opening rounds to an unforgettable Grand Final, Dragon Ball proved why it stands above the rest. This wasn’t just a win. This was legacy. Why Dragon Ball earnt the crown: - It laid the foundation for modern shōnen anime - It inspired generations of creators and fans - Its characters are global icons - Its spirit of growth, training, rivalry and adventure still resonates today Even against a masterpiece like Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball reminded us where it all began. 💬 A huge thank you to everyone who voted, commented, debated respectfully, and shared their passion. This tournament worked because of you. Would Dragon Ball win again next time? Which anime deserves a rematch? There were plenty of anime that I didn't include. Which one do you think needs to be included next time? For the next tournament, I am thinking of doing Japanese food or places to visit in Japan. Drop your thoughts below 👇 そして…おめでとう、ドラゴンボール!(Congratulations, Dragon Ball!) 🐉🏆🔥

I was thinking the other day, that the real OG anime that probably got most started were the Miyazaki films. I wonder how many here have seen them 🤔
🔥🏆 Anime Tournament – GRAND FINAL 🏆🔥
We’re here - the Grand Final! After weeks of voting, debating, and some very hard choices, only two remain. The Grand Final: 🐉 Dragon Ball vs ⚙️ Fullmetal Alchemist Legacy versus mastery. Roots versus refinement. Only one will be crowned our community’s favourite anime. 🐉 Dragon Ball (ドラゴンボール) This is where it all began for countless fans. Dragon Ball didn’t just succeed—it defined what shōnen anime could be. Why it reached the Grand Final: Created the blueprint for training arcs, power growth, and rivalries A sense of adventure, humour, and joy that spans generations Characters that became global cultural icons An influence so deep that modern anime still echoes it This is anime history. Without Dragon Ball, the landscape looks completely different. ⚙️ Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師) A series often spoken about in terms of perfection. Fullmetal Alchemist balances action, philosophy, emotion and politics with rare precision. Why it reached the Grand Final: Exceptionally tight storytelling from start to finish Deep themes of sacrifice, morality, and responsibility A richly realised world and unforgettable cast A story that resonates just as strongly on rewatch This is anime at its most complete—crafted with care and purpose. 🗳️ THE FINAL VOTE This is it. Do you choose the foundational legend that shaped the genre? Or the storytelling masterpiece that refined it? 💬 Cast your final vote and share why—this is the one worth defending. 勝つのはどっちだ!? (Which one will be crowned!?) 🏆🔥

Introduce yourself and share a pic of something Japanese you own or something Japanese that you're interested in! Feel free to explain why you want to learn Japanese or what you like about Japan. Also, feel free to post any Japanese language questions you have. I'd be glad to answer them! As for me, I love learning Judo. Have you ever tried it? And I love Japanese literature, such as Kokoro by Natsume Soseki. Have you read any Japanese novels? I also really enjoyed Cowboy Bebop when it came out! Not the live action Netflix version! Hi everyone, I'm Rose. I am currently a beginner and looking forward to learning with all of you! My family and I have a trip planned for Okinawa this April, so I wanted to learn some Japanese before we go.
