Most men live their whole lives building excuses for a day they hope never comes. They say they’ll get in shape later, train later, become disciplined later, become useful later. But evil does not wait for your better season, it does not pause while you become who you promised you would be. That is the part you need to understand. You are not judged by the man you planned to become. You are judged by the man standing there when it matters.

While packing yesterday, I couldn't decide between my Monterey and my Seiko for this outfit, but I already had watches picked out for this evening's and tomorrow's outfits, and I only had room for one more in my travel case, so I decide to wait until I finished packing to decide. Well, I got distracted and ended up forgetting to actually pack either one, so it's watch option number three, I guess. Anyway, we're going to a wedding today, so I'm wearing my newest suit - a made-to-measure three-piece suit made from my new favorite fabric, a wool-linen-silk blend, in a light tan color. My favorite piece, other than the suit, of course, in this outfit is probably the lapel pin. It's a feathered lapel pin, handmade by Brackish, and is a bit of a souvenir from our trip to Charleston.

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures in our RMRS brotherhood. The lessons we teach, the examples we set, and the time we invest in our families are far more important than the clothes we wear.
