Importance of DSA?
Is it important to understand DSA and solve Leetcode style problems to be successful in AI/ML engineering? Since you're dealing with large sets of data, my assumption is that you would need to understand the time and space complexities with Big O notation? I am asking because I would like to know how much time and effort I should actually put into it. Thank you in advance for your input and feedback!

Thank you all so much for the feedback! Much appreciated insight!
Hey you lateral-movers: what field are you coming from?
Question for those of you who already have experience working in companies or academics in a different field: - what field are you coming from? - how much experience do you have in it? - do you have plans to use your previous experience in your data adventure, or on the contrary, you are learning data science to move forward in your main area of expertise?

Hi Viktorija, I have been in tech for about 18 years. I work on Cloud Security Infrastructure within the global cybersecurity division for Sony. I have used Python automation for half of my career and am looking to transition my love of Python to uses in AI/ML.
Georgia Tech OMSCS
Hello. Is anyone here familiar with Georgia Tech Online Master of Science in Computer Science? I was looking into their AI or Machine Learning specialty track but wanted to get some personal opinions if it is worth it or not.

@Joshua Mauldin glad it all worked out in your favor! I've also been told to consider MBA. I briefly took a look and I do come across the same consensus as GT OMSCS os one of the top reputable programs. Thanks for reply!
Elements of AI - Amazing free learning resource
Hi everyone. I recently started this online course: https://www.elementsofai.com/. It's a great introduction to the technical side of AI. You get to make your own models in the second part and can share them with others. It's created by University of Helsinki which also has created a lot of other free high-quality courses: https://www.mooc.fi/en/, including CS and Data Analysis with Python. It even has a Discord channel where you can discuss the matter.
