Scent of the Day!
It's a muggy 88 degrees here so I reached for one of my favorite fresh fragrances. Nautica Voyage will always be one of my go to scents on a hot day.
Scent of the Day!

On a warm day at the office, went with the masterpiece Terre d’Hermes EDT. Just gives so much uplifting blood orange with the grassy Vetiver. A brilliant scent that gives me very good performance.

SMELLS SO AMAZING! That dirty orange and vetiver plays so well together.
We wish the most expensive fragrances can last longer
I agree with Antonio that he mentioned that most the fragrance from the house of Creed has poor longevity, the price, and the clones juice up the longevity better. I do think Parfums De Marly made their fragrances has stronger longevity 8 plus hours. Which the most expensive fragrances that you that you wish it has better longevity?

Creed Silver Mountain Water is such a lovely fragrance but sadly on my skin it's gone in under 3 hours even if I spray extra.
To spray, or not to spray...
Alright gents - saw a video the other day on YouTube from Aromatix where he talked about how many sprays is appropriate for fragrances and then proceeded to break it down by fragrance type, etc. It made me perk my ears a bit because in the video, it was mentioned that he sprays anywhere from 3-16 (yes, 16!!!) sprays depending on the fragrance/season/etc. He also mentioned wearing anything year round just adjusting sprays...which may be another discussion. I've always been more conservative (2-3 chest/neck and one on each arm - MAX)...but I went and put on 7 sprays of the Eros EDT this morning and my wife immediately caught a whiff from 4-5 feet away out the gate...so have I been doing this wrong the whole time???? But for the sake of conversation...how many sprays is appropriate? What's the context? How do you determine spray count?

To me it depends on the settings. If im going to the gym I don't want to choke people out so a few sprays on my neck and elbow creases. If my wife and I are going out I typically do Chest, neck pulse points, back of my neck (im 6'5 so it creates a trail), and both wrists. I keep a travel spray with me at all times to reapply while im out.

@Alex Kilpatrick preaching to the choir Alex! My wife isn't a huge fan of colognes however there's a couple she'll tolerate. I get extremely self conscious when we are driving and I see her roll down her window because I've oversprayed. I've learned if she isn't leaning away gasping for air out of the window, I've apply the correct amount 😂
SOTD: CK One by Calvin Klein 27/05/2026
Looking back at my collection, CK One really is "the one" that takes me straight back to being eighteen. Released in 1994, this iconic creation by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Harry Fremont was a true product of its time, the golden age of 90s perfumery. While I was more of a Tommy Hilfiger guy back then, I’ve come to appreciate CK One as the ultimate "blue jeans and white t-shirt" scent. It was revolutionary for being one of the first widely successful gender neutral fragrances, capturing a specific kind of effortless, minimalist cool that defined an entire decade. When I spray it now, the opening is a bright, nostalgic burst of citrus and fruit; I get a lot of lemon and bergamot mixed with a surprising touch of pineapple and papaya that keeps it from being just another green scent. As it settles, it transitions into a soft, clean floral heart where jasmine and lily-of-the-valley dominate, though a hint of nutmeg keeps it grounded. The dry down is where that classic 90s "clean" vibe really lives, leaning into a base of green tea, musk, and cedar. It’s a very transparent composition, nothing feels heavy or cloying, which is exactly why it has stood the test of time. In terms of performance, I have to be honest: like many of the CK lines, it’s a fairly average EDT. It doesn't project loudly, and it won't last you through a whole workday. However, my perspective on this has changed for the better. I’ve found it has become my go-to gym fragrance because it’s so light and inoffensive. It’s best suited for warmer spring and summer days or casual errands where you just want to smell fresh. Because the performance is on the lighter side, don't be afraid to overspray it. It’s a refreshing, easy-to-wear classic that feels just as right today as it did decades ago. My Rating 7/10 Scent 2 Longevity 2 Sillage 2 Y/N 1

@Edward Mooney I still wear Obsession during the bitter cold winter months. I'm still in love with that deep warm cinnamon scent. I toss that on with a sweater catch a few compliments.
