Belated weekly message from Kath!
Hi everyone First up, apologies for not being very active on here so far this year (apart from our twice-weekly virtual coffees). Being in Africa for a month, surrounded by music, colour, movement and life, and then returning to the super quiet somewhat isolated life in Dalton had quite the reverse culture shock on me. Even after two months I am still feeling it. Mostly it is presenting as procrastination and loss of motivation. So I really need to take my own advice about boosting one's mood in all the ways I can: getting out of bed (!!), practising gratitude, playing music, getting back into qigong and meditation, socialising. And getting back on here is a first step that I have been procrastinating about! I was chatting to @Sue Mackenzie about my old radio show, and so I thought I would share the link here to my podcast with many interviews with fabulously interesting women (some of whom are members of this community too). It will only be up until May, so catch them while you can at #Women's voices with Dr Kath on YassFM 100.3 | Podcast on Spotify For locals our second women's circle will be at Breadalbane on the second Sunday in April - details are on the Calendar for 12 April. I'd still like to offer an online circle as well - please let me know your preferences for day and time and I will try to accommodate. I will soon put up a new meditation and get back to holding regular mindfulness sessions - stay tuned. How have you all been coping with the state of the world right now - feel free to vent in comments! Love xx

Thanks Kath and Deb for your messages. I'm also trying to not worry much about the situation Deb, I know that stressing about it won't change anything and like you I'm trying to be practical about my response. And Kath, I totally understand the sensation of a reverse culture shock; although not as exciting, my version atm is trying to figure out what retirement means for me. Some days I'm fine and get things done, and other days I'm a slug (no offence to slugs). Unfortunately I'll miss the circle as I'll be jumping on a plane to Adelaide on 12 April for our 'heart' summit (the co-living group), where we'll try to work out what our real vision, desires, needs, aspirations and goals are, and whether we all align. It will be pretty full-on emotionally I reckon, so much so that we've got an external facilitator in to guide us. It's a supportive bunch of people which is a blessing, even if the outcome might be challenging/exciting. We're all doing lots of reading, thinking and homework beforehand to make the most of the summit time. Jules, enjoy the retreat x I've never been on one; interested to hear what a retreat is like.
Cute pub at Dalton!
Wedding venue, tourist destination ... the sky's the limit! 😊 https://www.allhomes.com.au/news/nsw-country-pub-asking-for-less-than-a-city-apartment-is-up-for-grabs-1498983

Get better soon Kath. I've got a meeting tonight with my co-living group, so I'm also an apology.
This week
Hi all, I'm heading to Coonabarabran to see friends this morning for a few days, so can't join the catch-up and may not make Wednesday evening either. Have fun!
