@Christopher Okunade I understand your POV which is partly correct, but in my opinion, the fact that people aren’t using an app doesn’t mean there are too many of them—it means the app isn’t meeting a real, concrete need. You can improve your app as much as you want, but if people don’t like it, it won’t make a difference. Thinking that way alone means closing yourself off to a dynamic market and potentially awesome future projects. In every industry, novelty and uniqueness are what drive appeal.

@Precious Adebisi I keep an eye on it 👀
Question about app ratings 👀
Hi everyone, I hope everything is going well as Cycle 2 approaches! 👋 I have a question about when the miniapps will be graded: Are they graded based on their status as of July 31 (i.e., the final submission deadline), or are they graded based on their status up until the results are announced (August 15)? In other words, let’s say I add a feature now—will it be taken into account? If I make a change tomorrow, will that be taken into account? I think this is an important question because it means an extra two weeks to fine-tune a product that has a fixed deadline. Thanks for your answers! 😉

@Ricardo Barquero Hi, so having a finished product and polishing it by the 31st was a good strategy. Thanks for your reply! 😊

Cycle #2 Build
It’s been a few days of touching grass. The cycle 1 was fun and I had fun building piggy alongside the Nimiq skool community. Thank you for your valuable support and feedback. That said, I’m already prepin’ for cycle #2 build and I need your help deciding what to build next:

@Tony Wtf I hadn't thought of it that way. In that case, that's great! It's kind of like an old-school SwissBorg, but with a crypto transaction, right?

@Tony Wtf Back then, you could bet on whether the SwissBorg token would go up or down by making a choice once a day with a time interval (if I remember correctly, something like 6, 12, or 24 hours). If you were right, you’d win. The retention rate was super high because you’d come back every day.
How to market your mini app?
Hey guys, if you are planning to market your mini app, keep these points in mind: - Use the mini app yourself and ask, "Would I actually use this?" (as @Martin DeSouza mentioned during the Phase 2 sip and ship call) - If you believe your app is perfect and meets a real need, ask yourself: "If I were a user, what would attract me to use this app?" - Once you have the answers to the above questions, use that strategy to approach smaller creators; offer them early access and special perks they will definitely help. - If you aren't sure how to approach them or who to contact, feel free to DM me with details on what you're promoting and which features would appeal to them I’ll definately help you reach out to them. - Regardless of whether I win the competition or not, let’s make the Nimiq blockchain powerful together. I hope this post helps you :)

Great idea for a post! 💯 I’d say it really depends on the app’s purpose: if you can earn NIM, then focus on that aspect on fast-paced social media platforms (TikTok, etc.); if it’s a lifestyle app like ours, then word of mouth and in-person demos are what make the difference. Ultimately, I think that not all mini-apps are marketed in the same way at all. That's really nice of you to offer to help out! 🙏
