✨ Welcome to Grounded Roots Parenting ✨
A big heartfelt welcome to our newest members 3 in one day! — We’re really glad you’re here! @Zee Riter @Sierra Melcher @Robin Lewis This space is about slowing things down, getting curious, and growing in ways that feel supportive rather than pressured. Whether you’re a parent, a creator, a healer, an author, or simply someone who values deeper connection and reflection — you belong here. Take your time to look around. Jump into conversations when it feels right. There’s no expectation to perform, prove, or be “on” all the time. If you feel comfortable, pop an intro in and share: what brought you here what you’re hoping to gain or explore or just say hello 👋 This is a roots-first, human-first community — and you’re now part of it 💙

We have a theme!! 🌿
You might have noticed the artwork popping up through this space — the forests, the light, the calm, the little moments of wonder. That’s not accidental. Not because it’s trendy, but because it creates a feeling. Goose explained this really well: a theme isn’t about what you’re teaching — it’s about how people feel when they arrive. Before anyone reads a word, their nervous system has already clocked whether this space feels safe, overwhelming, playful, calm, or pressured. For us, the theme is there to: soften the space reduce that “where do I even start?” feeling invite curiosity instead of urgency and make learning feel gentle, not heavy The artwork is part of that. Pretty, vibrant, calming — something your eyes can rest on while your brain takes things in. I absolutely love the artwork! What do you think? 🌱❤️

🌿 Welcome to Grounded Roots Parenting! (START HERE) A softer way to live, parent, and grow!
Hi everyone, I’m Ellie — thank you for being here. Please do introduce yourself in a new post!! I wanted to create a space that feels calm, gentle, and real… somewhere we can talk about parenting, home life, plants, mindfulness, and the messy, beautiful chaos in between. This space is for: ✨ Mindfulness that fits real life ✨ Neurodivergent-friendly support ✨ Activity Ideas ✨ Understandin SEN, ASD and ADHD ✨ Honest chats, no judgement at all A bit about me: I’m Level 3 qualified in Childcare, Learning & Development having worked in childcare for 20+years, and a mum with lived experience supporting ADHD and autistic children. Most of what I share comes from real life — things that have actually helped me stay grounded, connected and sane on the hard days. I’m really glad you’re here. Let’s grow softer, stronger roots together. Please drop a post, say hello!👋 💚🌿

Hi. Glad to be here. I have a granddaughter who is on the spectrum and very ADHD and it can be challenging at times but fortunately her divergences are fairly minor - she gets overwhelmed easily and is super-active, and highly masking so it can be hard to really understand what is going on on a deeper level. I'm very glad to see someone on Skool addressing a more gentle view of parenting ND children (especially because many times parents are ND too and weren't really taught how emotional regulation works.) We are all learning here.
