Hey y'all so I started using QuickBooks online for my business and recently started using an actual shop maintenance software that intergrates with QuickBooks online but I'm not really sure how I should set the integration up so that everything goes where it should in QuickBooks an help would be appreciated

First I want to thank @Ben Dellaria, I am pretty sure I wouldn't be doing this if I hadn't discovered his YouTube channel. I took on my first customer, a relative of a friend, on July 7th. It was a starter on a Hyundai Tucson, I have worked on this car 2 more times this year. Front brakes and then I did valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and an alternator. Anyway, I know I have mentioned on here how it can be a struggle getting my name out there but before I did that first job I figured if I did $50k by the end of the year that I would consider that a success. My wife has reminded me of that when I complained about the slow days, she has been very supportive through this whole thing. After being in business for 6 months I have finished the year at $76k with a 59% gross profit, parts margin is right at 48%, and 2.09 hours per RO. ARO $529. Not bad I think, but at the same time I think I could have been close to double if I had had more cars. 144 total ROs so only 24 ROs per month

Need your guys help with this. I've got a project vehicle I work on intermittently. Called again today for crank no start. Its got an MC serial on it. Someone previously had told me how to access service manuals, parts diagrams and wiring for these things but I can't for the life of me remember. Ask me how I know Iraq dirt tasted different -.- They did say the wait to start light is not coming on now, but batteries are still showing 24v. Beyond that no info, I'll be looking at it Friday.

Do you guys charge the customer before or after you completed the job?

End of the week is here! I want to know if you all hit your goals we all set out to achieve. I DID NOT. My wife has been down and out for over a week and man did she organize a lot for me. I hope everyone's week went they wanted. We are still on the winter transition here but the revenue is going up once from last few weeks. Phone ringing like made as well. but we only did about $4700 this week in 4 days. Today is my office day no actual work kind of. Im rewiring a 53 ford panel truck. Torn the entire wire harness out and reinstalling a ron francis kit for a customer. So i may go work on that a bit today as well
