I'm back!
Hey guys! Sorry I've been radio silent the last few months. I got military orders to move to North Carolina and we just got here a few days ago. Currently unpacking and getting our home situated. I'm looking forward to posting again. Bye for now!
WOTD: Tally and Twine Red tails Edition
Today I am wearing one of my favorite watches as I am celebrating a health victory winning my daily battle over type 2 diabetes and breaking generational curses in this fight. It can be won if you are diligent. Every tick of this watch honors the legacy of the P-51 Mustang, the aircraft that carried the Tuskegee Airmen to greatness during World War II. Displayed with pride at 9 o’clock, the Mustang stands as a reminder of their unmatched bravery and lasting impact on history. The number seven on the dial speaks to the idea of completion—celebrating the perseverance and triumph of those who dared to soar beyond limits.

WOTN- Sunday Evening: San Martin GMT
Haven’t worn this in ages, but every time I put it on, I can’t help but stare. This was only $300 and has since been discontinued. It uses a Hangzou 6460 movement, which is a Chinese clone of the ETA 2836-2 GMT movement. It has a high frequency 4Hz motion that makes the second hand float effortlessly around the dial. It’s the same exact dimensions as the Rolex GMT Master II which it is obviously modeled after. It just makes me want a Pepsi GMT on a Jubilee so badly.

Are you a bigger fan of Swiss movements, or Japanese/ Chinese movements? I've always been big on Swiss movements, but wanted to know if there's something I'm missing out on.

@Brett Sutton okay. I need to read up on that Hangzou movement. If that rivals ETA's GMT, I may have to look at something like that as an everyday watch. Thanks for providing that info!
