I use elixirs on my telecaster and my Les Paul., but I used 10 to 52. The slightly heavier top strings might work better on the Les Paul.

Because my project uses backing tracks, I do use Xvive in-ear monitors on a bunch of songs. I'm the piano player. I need them especially when there's nothing but piano as an intro to a song. We channel them to the monitors , not to the front of the house. For example, we play" Don't stop believin'". It's about a minute and a half of a piano intro. The only person that hears it is me. The Xvive is an excellent air monitor. It's only wired to me. It goes wireless to our mixer. When I'm done with the air monitor, I just kick it out of my ear. The Xvive is an excellent product.

@Stephen Bickel you can actually buy individual receivers. If you set the transmitter on one channel, you can set the receivers up on the same. Having two band mates receive the same signal from one transmitter. If that's what you're talking about. Some people will buy one transmitter and four receivers. They sell them all different ways. I've been using mine now for about 4 years, I yet to replace it. I only use it for a few songs.

@Brandon Morin I've been using Elixirs for years now. I used to use Ernie Balls. The Elixirs have a great feel. I use the 10's on a Telecaster.

Being more of a piano player, I usually apply theory to the guitar when I can!

@Ronald Parada sounds like a plan. About 20 years ago, I used to teach piano lessons. Extra money, mostly beginners and little kids. I can't comprehend how people take piano lessons online. There is tons of musician information out there. When it comes to lessons though, you need someone sitting next to you , guiding you.

I recommend the Zoom G6. This unit has many built-in sounds. User friendly and extremely programmable. I've been playing in a multi-genre band for about 5 years now. This paddle is really all I need.
